I luv his explanation of what a clock is when it's not reading the right time ... Just numbers with sticks that move in different directions ? 🤣 I don't know what clocks he has in his house but I've never seen the 'sticks' move in different directions ... I'm 99% sure that's where we get clockwise or anti clockwise rotation from 😂🤣😂 an not even Jon picks him up on it 🤭

One of the managers where I used to work left his lanyard on on the train, then after a while got a call from a mate and made plans, saying something like "yeah f work, I'll just call in sick or something". Someone got the details from the lanyard and rang in to let the company know.

Nah it was nothing to do with that. There was budget cuts at E4 HQ and they had to replace the Jimmy android with a slightly less advanced model to cut costs. The less advanced model doesn't have the same range of movement as the old one.

Funny thing about the clocks, usually they will be 10 and 2 or around that, this is because it makes them seem "happy" or "smiling". This makes the clocks seem more "friendly" so it improves sales. That is what I had heard anyway.

Sebastian Aufrichtig Sean was on it for 17 seasons and Jon replaced 2 other comedians before it and Channel 4 who make the show also have them 2 and Jimmy on Cats Does Countdown so probably they terminated their contracts to save money

Maybe the reason the clocks all show different times is so all the chimes don't go off at the same moment. Imagine what noon would sound like in a clock shop where all the clocks were set to the same time.

@@thisman8056 A broken clock with the hands stuck at, say, 1:15, will be "right" at 1:15am and at 1:15pm, or twice a day. However, Sean is talking about clocks that are not broken, but aren't set at the current time, which will never be right.

There probably are statues, but doesnt the old testament say something about making effigys and statues of any god (including their one)? I cant remember exactly. Its not the false idols thing, there was another event where the Pharisees were told not to create trophies or artefacts because people would worship them, instead of god? I dont even believe in god so idk why i know this but yeah

Say what you like about Katherine Ryan, she looks good with her hair up.

If it's not a Clock, it's just numbers..... The moment the light goes on. Mathematics a formal & manipulated Science. The concept of Time like a lot of invisible claims, are lapped up by the ignorant.

Sean's clock rant is funny but it's scientifically proven that people become 80% less funny when Katherine Ryan is sitting next to them, on account of how she's so unfunny she sucks all the funny around her into a comedy vacuum.

it's not the subject of the joke itself, it's the way the joke is presented. Many comedians have made some great jokes about disease, discrimination and even death.

Besides not being funny, the Notre Dame segment was in poor taste.
