Davids inexplicable joy over those two guests tapeworm joke was more enjoyable to watch than anything they actually said. Their performance was awful throughout the whole episode. I get what they're trying to do. I read a Reddit post where a woman was describing being in a daycare center with a bunch of "Pinterest" moms that was more humorous than these two. Also, one of the things I like about Sean Lock is he doesn't pretend he loves the guests in dictionary corner when they're terrible. He politely sits there with a baffled look and it's great.

No, you can also get tapeworms from beef and fish if they're under-cooked. Mum's the Word are genuinely one of the funniest dictionary corner guests the show have ever had on. The tapeworm bit, the "women I do not like or respect" and the prawn joke had my friend and I in hysterics. Genuinely cannot understand the hate they seem to be catching in the comments. Satire a bit beyond some folks, it seems.
