Two beautiful guys inside and out and VOICES for the World 🌎
I love the big smile you have on your face watching these two. Great reaction.
Australias top 2 vocalists with one of our top singers/guitarists - what more could you ask for. Thanks Texas ❤🎉😊
John has been with Jill for over 50 yrs, Jimmy with Jane for over 40 yrs, & Diesel's been married to Jane's sister Jep over 30 yrs. They must all know the saying "Happy wife happy life"
We Aussies love these legends... been a big part of every Australians life for many years and their music has helped me & others through some good & bad times
I saw it live. It WAS legendary. An encore at the end of one of the 5 times I've seen John Farnham. Have also seen Jimmy live 3 times. Sad that those days of club music is over.
Love your reaction and your big smile. 3 of our best. Luv from Australia ❤️🎼❤️🎼❤️
Love that you enjoy as much as me thankyou
Hey hey for sure!
And all great mates ❤❤🎉🎉
I think you would love John Farnham - Chain Reaction (the live version). The intro is amazing!
not sure if anybody noticed but in the first couple of lines of Barnsey singing you can still hear Farnsies voice even though he is 3 feet away from the microphone. and neither of these guys have had any formal singing coaching and I know Farnsie was a smoker and still has a set of pipes like that.
My two favourite Legends singing together in one place. What more could you ask for. 😁❤️🥰
I remember working in a hospital in the 80’s and all us girls were in love with Diesel! 😊❤
Thanks for the reaction, to be the best live performance of this song by far is the hey hey it’s Saturday version.

But technically that wasn't 'fully' live. The vocals were live, but the band was 'miming' the studio recorded music track. Hey Hey did that a bit, even though they 'crossed' over to them.

True but the vocals are the best, and the acapella at the end is great.
Another Aussie legend Tommy Emmanual performing Classical Gas.
Now you MUST also check out the same song on a T V variety show named, 'Hey, Hey, It's Saturday,' which was an extremely popular show for many years, watched all around Australia. It is a better, more intimate version and the visuals and sound are clearer on it and 'Barnsey, Farnsey and Diesel-y' do a beautiful a capella chorus at the end. Please react to this video soon as Aussies can never get enough of these guys and reactions to them. Love and healing blessings to John and Jimmy during their recuperation from surgeries.

Thanks for reacting!!❤
ALWAYS gotta watch the *LIVE* versions of Barnsy and Farnsy!
Loving your reactions Texas. Can't wait for the next one!😊
Lovin’ ya work, Texas! Thank you! Diesel (Mark Denis Lizotte) was an artist in his own right before he first met Jimmy. His first successful band was Johnny Diesel and The Injectors. He’s an American-born Australian from Fall River, Massachusetts who emigrated to Australia when he was 5 years old. When Jimmy and Jane met Diesel, they liked him so much that they match-made Diesel with Jane’s little sister. Diesel is now Jimmy’s brother in law, lol.

Johnny Diesel & The Injectors first album was in 1989 so it was before this clip. I owned that CD. Great soundtrack to my Aussie teenage years too.
SO great - such talent on one stage.
John Diesel covering I've Been Loving You Too Long!
Love how you smile as a reaction. I do the same everything I hear any of them perform.
Praying for John Farnham's recovery from oral cancer in August 2022.
Fantastic song, and absolute ledgends here ,all three of them!!, glad you enjoyed these guys, we grew up with these guys and sometimes we need someone to remind us just how lucky we are/ were, and mate you just did that , THANKYOU❤
You're so right about the heart felt passion and respect pouring forth from the lyrics and vocalisations and the accompanying dynamics of the emotional musicality of this performance. Yes that's about the WOW of it, ALL of this talent. Sure puts " Slap your bitch up." try-hard to grab attention attempts, of greedy music industry manipulator's pathetic efforts, in the bin. I love light happy and/ or cheeky love songs too. Never those with designs on the division and disruption of the social emotional intelligence of the status quo. Thanks Texas for the inspiration and platform here to get up on my soap box and have a long held in rant and spray about this subject.
Two of our finest 🇦🇺
Another great reaction, Texas! You know this by now, always go live with these two when you can. Keep it going!
My favourite performance of this song is from the 1991ARIA Awards; and the a Capella at the end, really tops it off. John is great doing duets, and my favourite one is with Olivia Newton John; they sing Please Don't Ask Me from The Main Event Concert, John released this song previously, singing it by himself.
P.s, you really should check out Johnny Diesel and the injectors, so great, also for something newer try Birds of Tokyo, another fantastic Aussie band👍👍

@@BigGen222 hi!!😊, exactly, even good Lord ( sad really but just s life's flow some times), but 99% of their songs are just so good
Diesel got a promotion! He's got his own mic this time. LOL
Texas Love, you were spot on with your assessment of 'witnessing greatness.' I grew up in Australia in the 70s, 80s and these two legends, plus of course Chisel, AccaDacca (what Aussies call ACDC) the Angels, Rose Tattoo,, etc and so many fantastic bands from Oz and NZ that never made it across the pond except ACDC. Our radio was filled with their songs and you could go and see each of these bands in a pub or arena almost every year. We were truly spoiled Down Under, and yet we didnt realise it until their time was over. A true case of 'you don't know what you've got until it's gone.'

@Kelly Van how can i forget the Jets? Thanks for picking up the slack!
Diesel is also Jimmy Barnes , brother inlaw.
Thank you for this, what a treat. It was an equal joy to be at one of John's concerts when Jimmy unexpectedly came onstage and they sang this song. John's comment to the audience as Jimmy left the stage was "I got more out of that than you did." So great to see the respect and support. Having been used to this camaraderie, I was disgusted at an Elton John concert where for some strange reason he went on a between-songs rant about Bette Midler, finishing with "She can't f-ing sing." Respect lost.
When you have seen Barnsie “Working Class Man”, check out the Adam Hills version. Cheers
In Australia we just add on a y or an ie and there you go -it works with most names 😃
❤
A little trivia for you. Those 3 masculine men are all happily married. Farnsey will celebrate his & Jill's 50th wedding anniversary this year. Barnsy & Jane have been married for 44 years, while Diesel and Jep have been together for 33 years. Jane and Jep are sisters, originally from Thailand, so Jimmy and Diesal are brothers in law. I'll let you investigate what all the grown children do for a living, lol!
Back when voices were not computer enhanced.
Do "cryin shame" by Diesel (the guitarist) - do yourself a favour 👍
👍
my texas brother! you do a great job. can't wait for you to run down the dimash & jinjer rabbit holes.
How do I request?
@chaoticoldbore
Жыл бұрын
Just make a suggestion in the comments. If it's a good one people may back you up and also request it. If enough suggest or you give a really good pitch on why you are suggesting it he may do it. That's generally how it works on channels that aren't pay to play such as this one.
Probably a little degrading to the songwriter but there was a joke going around at the time that the songwriter had just found out his new girlfriend had passed on an std.
