Chyna was awesome. An underdog, but that was part of the attraction of the story. It wasn’t like she beat all the guys. She started as a villainous body guard and transformed into being her own person. For the time, it was revolutionary.

It's about gender as much as it is about size. When she was measured for celebrity boxing, Chyna was 5'9" and 170 pounds. You can't ask a 250-pound man to sell for someone who weighs 80 pounds less than them, and the audience won't buy it when they do.

Chyna was pioneering in all the wrong directions. It was women like Molly, Trish and Lita who really put womens wrestling on the map in WWE, while Chyna was too busy throwing hissy fits because she wanted to wrestle and go over men in the ring. After the aforementioned women left, womens wrestling went back to what it was during Chynas prime, underwear, mud and strip matches before women like Aj Lee, Paige and Emma dragged it back out of the trench.

She was definitely among the first to do proper intergender wrestling in many years, I give her that, and others like Nicole Bass attempted to follow in these footsteps, but not much came from it, so her biggest legacy is dead, which makes her playboy shoots and her time as a female bodyguard her main contributions.
