I was only 9 years old watching Pillman wrestle in the WWF in 1997 and Me and my brother, who had previously watched Flying Brian in WCW, could not understand how his in ring performance was so poor. Later, we found out through one of the magazines what had happened with the car accident the previous year. It was a travesty. Pillman would have gone down in history as one of the greatest of all time if that car accident had not happened. He really was that good
Pillman might have squeezed a couple of great years out as a wrestler in WWF if he’d stayed out of the ring for longer and dealt with his painkiller addiction. That was the final blow. He had a heart condition like his father and the painkillers did him in. Cocaine use didn’t help either. If he’d healed up properly and completely changed his style (no jumping off any ropes), he might have gotten a year or 2 in the ring before transitioning. But that character as a colour guy would have had a shelf life if he hadn’t developed it further in the ring. WWF fans who didn’t watch WCW barely knew him.
Sid couldn't talk or work properly, yet still had an ego and felt entitled because of his size. He wasn't Taker; the better bigger wrestler who could work with his size.

But he had "it".
Nice interview
I never thought about this, but it would have been a good fit. My only question about Pillman is this. Was it painful for him to speak? I know he had all those surgeries and his voice was affected by it, but did it hurt to speak for periods of time?
Why wasn’t Brian in the video game War Zone?
Jim ross gotta be smoking some shit here
Hey- J.R.- how do you feel about Donald Trump losing his 2nd amendment rights as an Upright Christian Gentleman, and a dear friend of Vince McMahon?
