Drew isn't a mark for himself. He understands that this feud with Punk is bigger than a run with the belt. People are way more interested in Drew than Priest.

6 months these two having great segments, resulting in arguably the best feud in wrestling, and they've not had one match. Real life beef taken, two pros using it to make money. Professional. Wrestling.

Absolutely. I would honestly be surprised if there even was any real heat between them in the first place. They are playing it so well and being patient that by the time this match happens it will be off the hook!

Conrad said on one of Bischoff's podcasts that he heard TK doesn't like heat. Let me elaborate: he doesn't like it when the fans boo someone. He likes fans to cheer. I don't know if it's true, but I really do believe it. He let Cody go even though he was his hottest heel. He doesn't have any strong heels because all of his talented heels immediately turn babyface because he taught his audience to not boo.

@@spheremode3271 Christian Cage... Honestly, even by TK's standards I honestly think that would be too imbecilic. I know Khan has proven to be a terrible booker but there is just no way he doesn't want people to boo the heels. That would moronic to a standard that even AEW couldn't reach.

i've been away from watching WWE for many years, I still not really interested in it but am I hearing that Drew Mcintyre, the squash-boy for like 10 years is now the top guy in the WWE???!!
