Exactly Canelo at 33 is scared of fighting benavidez who's 28 GGG at 36/37 fought Canelo twice. Not to mention he had 350 amateur fights.

Canelo was definitely carrying Munguía throughout the match after Munguia hit the Canvas. Several times Canelo himself clinched on Mungia to save him from falling over.

Ggg was not in his prime. He was 35 and almost 37 in their 1st 2 fights. Clenelo lost both of those fights but if he fought a 30 year old ggg he gets beat easier than the first fight.

GGG wanted that fight for a few years before it finally happened the first time due to canelo and oscar bullshitting around talking about canelo was to small for 160 so he went up 1 pound from 154 to 155 an fought at a catch weight just to stay away from 160 a lil longer aging GGG more an more. Canelo was weighing more on fight nights at 154 than GGG was at 160 but claimed he was to small an he 10000% lost that first fight. Had he fought GGG years sooner in his actual prime it would of been worse.

Neither one really hurt one another. Neither one was dropped but they ruled it a draw lol. Amazing. You get outboxed in 10 of the 12 rounds and land 49 less punches but it's a draw lol.

Hahaha! U clearly did not follow Triple G's career. Back then, Triple G was like the Bertebiev of 160. No one was able to hurt him and he was knocking all his opponents. All wins were a landslide win. So when he fought Canelo, he was still fresh. People just love bringing up Triple G's age but not his boxing movements. Cus clearly Triple G was still in prime during his fights against Canelo and the haters don't have a proof that he is no longer in prime in their first 2 fights

he didnt wait him out. he didnt want to fight him at all in the 3rd fight. DAZN forced him. nobody wanted to see a 3rd fight except the golovkin fangirls. everyone knew canelo would win the 3rd fight. both times golovkin fought canelo, he looked like he got hit by a train and looked worse the next fight. those canelo fights took everything out of golovkin. a 3rd fight was a foregone conclusion and what a shocker... golovkin got dominated in the 3rd. like anyone with a brain didnt see that coming.

Canelo didn’t want to stop Jaime. The entire fight I even got a sense that he was toying with Jaime, but at the end I don’t think it was that, I think he didn’t really want to knock him out

GGG was still an elite fighter when they first fought. Obviously clear that he won the first one. He still had the same power. The power never diminished. Even prime GGG wouldn’t knockout Canelo. Maybe outboxed a bit more of he was in his prime. That’s what people don’t get. I definitely see 36 year GGG knocking out Benevidez regardless. There’s different levels to this. You can’t knockout Canelo. You need to outbox him to beat him.

That’s cool and understandable, but relinquish the belts then and let other fighters get a shot. When you’re the champion you’re the main target, and the top contenders want their shot. If he just wants to pick his fights then so be it, nobody is knocking him for that. But we know the sanctioning bodies are comfy with their 3%-5% fee from his purse so they won’t strip him.

GGG won the first fight. The judge Bryd scored the fight 118-110 in favor of Canelo which was BS. There always seems to be a corrupt judge in favor of Canelo. Also Canelo is a cherry picker; why hasn’t he fought Benavidez for 3 years? If he believes he can’t win he will not fight them for the risk of losing his belts and money.

Whether you think he won or lost is irrelevant. You wanted the GGG fight, and he fought. Twice (three, but let's ignore the 3rd fight). But theres always another reason to complain, and that's what Canelo refers to in all his interviews. If he beats Benavidez, people will say he's ducking crawford or morrell. I dunno. GGG didnt reached his prime until his 32 - 33 years. Before that he was a little bite more of strenght and a little bit less than skill.

No, he wasn't. Even if you refuse to believe the contaminated meat excuse, the reality is that he got suspended and then fought GGG while consistently being tested for PEDs. And he beat GGG

Canelo Álvarez if he’s not scared then why doesn’t he signed a contract? I have always respected him but he’s been a selfish person who doesn’t care about the fans he is just about the money. David Benavidez agreed to everything and he still won’t sign the contract. Benavidez is 1.90 while Canelo is 1.73 m. They are different categories. Canelo would have to fight with a ladder. It doesn't make sense. This would be just to please people's curiosity. However, boxing is a sport.

That's not what the fight shows nor the stats it shows GGG won the two first fights but lost the last one

He’s not afraid of Benavidez, he just doesn’t want to take that much risk at this point of his career, unless he gets a ridiculous amount of money than he’s accustomed to. And that’s okay, I just wish he’d relinquish some or all of the belts and let other fighters fight for them, and he can just pick and choose his opponents as he pleases. But we know the sanctioning bodies are comfy with that 3%-5% fee so they’ll let him continue to do what he does.

But we know they won’t strip him, the money from the fees are too good. So tough luck for Benavidez unfortunately, if they do fight, he’s going to get like a 97 to 3 purse split or something crazy like that. Did you see the post fight interview after the Munguía fight? Canelo had to give a whole detailed story in both English and Spanish about the potential of fighting Benavidez lol. He doesn’t seem interested at all smh.

he was in his prime. only reason he didnt look like he was in his prime was because golovkin finally stepped up in competition. daniel geale is no prime daniel jacobs so golovkin finally looked human. then when he lost to canelo we saw that he was human and it took all of golovkin's confidence away. he was never the same after that

@@DrPlans Bro. That's not true. Golovkin fought anybody who was willing to fight him at the time. Best case you can make for him still being in his prime is him being at the end of it. & even then it still doesn't change the fact that all the top guys at 160 at the time either timed him out, or flat out ducked him. Martinez, Cotto, Jacob, & Canelo. Only one who had the balls was Lemiuex in his first title defense. & again even then he was still robbed of a decision in the first fight against Canelo. Golovkin was that guy.

Let’s not forget triple g won that first fight. They called it a draw cause canelo is the money man. And I’m Mexican and was going for canelo but he clearly lost that first fight.
