@jamestaylor841 the fight was very close, granted, but tue better work was done by usyk then Fury took over for 5 or so rounds. Noone could give Fury the win. Fury could well have won if he tossed his dad's advice out the window and stuck to the jab

He outlander Usyk in 5 of the first 6 rounds in case that helps you understand why some people thought it. some people favour pressure, some people favour shots landed, some people favour bigger shots... it really is subjective. But yeah he landed 95 shots vs 73 in the first 6 rounds , and (out landed in 5... just to give you some idea of why people might disagree with you) . I thought it was a very, very close fight, but I think Usyk probably just did enough. Fair play to both men.

I had it 4-2 to fury after 6. He was hitting Usyk with nice body shots. Usyk was pressuring but fury kept walking him onto shots. Fury was winning the long game and making Usyk pay when he did get close. Usyk stayed consistent, made very slight adjustments and got to tyson. Tyson corner being a shambles with 3 people talking meant he wasn't getting clear into and wasn't able to make any worthwhile adjustments. Was just fighting on heart and instinct after round 9. Imagine how difficult it is to find sparring partners anything like Tyson fury? This fight will have taught Usyk enough to make the rematch a more comfortable win in my opinion

@@BoxingPicks Most people had Fury winning majority of those early rounds, Usyk wasn't landing much of significance either. And Fury was landing more punches statistically. Had Fury 2 - 1 after 3 rounds, then the following rounds Fury was lighting Usyk up big time and hurting him on several occasions, and at points making it look fairly easy to my surprise. Until Usyk came back into it with the knockdown. Then Usyk finished strong showing his great heart and relentless will taking the majority of the later rounds but not all of them. It was a great fight, that will be remembered in history. But sadly I've seen some of the most casual nonsensical comments about this fight, brought about about blind bias and a dislike for Fury.

Fury has always been delusional as to how good he actually is ..Holmes 69 fights first 49 unbeaten is a rather better resume than Derek Chisora 3 times . After seeing MANY weak stoppages in boxing lately, nobody could have complained if the ref had done the proper thing and stopped Fury in the 9th. Instead, what we saw was the ref SAVE a guy who was knocked out, gave him time to recover and allow him to carry on. It should have been a 9th round tko. I’m pretty sure if that was Usyk getting pounded pillar to post, the ref would’ve stopped it.
