I find it incredible that even knowledgable people like Ingle cannot look beyond their bias towards Fury. Making excuses for his performance when the guy won 3-4 rounds at best is borderline nonsensical. The stats back this up, yet Fury die-hards are still maintaining it was close. It wasn’t. What’s more amazing is that many were backing Fury because of his boxing ability…! Based upon what? Victories over a well-over-the-hill 40yo Klitschko, and a trilogy against a guy who can punch but can’t box. That is his legacy. His record is conflated because of the exceptionally poor era he is in and if you need proof, then look no further than his loss to the only decent boxer he has faced, and who beat him convincingly. Fury ducked Usyk for good reason, he wasn’t good enough, and no matter what changes he makes for a potential rematch (which I don’t see happening), it still won’t be enough because I don’t see any area where he can improve to compete with Usyk.

One hundred percent right. Although Ingle seems like a decent man, he totally got it wrong when it comes to Fury. How can a guy who claims to have spent 30+ yrs in boxing say things like "the only weapon Usyk got is his right hook... and if you know that, it's so easy to just stand there, lift your right hand to protect your chin... and hit him with jabs all night long ..." it's unfathomable. Any person with half a brain understands that Oleksander Usyk has an arsenal of weapons. The overhand right hook happened to be his preferred weapon on the occasion. If Fury would have done what Ingle suggests, he would have seen more straight hands coming from Usyk than he could dream of. Also those who say that "the 9th round won Usyk the match.".. No, that was when Usyk's relentless pressure in every round finally broke through Fury's defense, when he found the opening and decided Fury was ripe enough för a full. on attack. That strategy and execution won him the match.

I disagree with him VEHEMENTLY about this idiotic " magnitude of the fight " attitude . That does not change the rules of boxing. A defenseless man taking big shots can suffer permanent brain damage damage or had his life taken in that situation. The referee has a duty to stop a fight under those circumstances. Please do not repeat this ludicrous idea that a high profile fight somehow warrants a reason to ignore the rules !

Go ask Usyk who his toughest fight, AJ or Fury. I will guarantee that he will say Fury. Congratulations to Usyk on winning the fight, a remarkable achievement, but there was only one man who needed hospital after the fight. He may not have broken his jaw but I hear from good sources he did break his orbital bone. Also, look at the Usyk v AJ first fight, AJ was hurt several times in that fight and took an absolute beating in rd 12, pinned on the ropes defenceless. Did the ref jump in then? No he did not. Look at Usyk v AJ 2, Usyk won comfortably and AJ was so disrespectful after the fight, taking Usyk's moment away from him with his silly speech, storming out of the ring, nearly getting into another fight outside the ring and even having a disagreement with Usyk's camp mate Lomachenko. Yet all u hear since the Usyk v Fury fight is that Fury was disgraceful, saying that Usyk only won due to the whole Russia invading Ukraine thing. Fury was on the whole respectful and let Usyk have his moment.

Vlad about 9/10 years ago but ducked the rematch, possibly wilder 3 MF times but he’s just a one trick pony, can you honestly say dillian Whyte who already been sparked out by AJ & povetkin, then look at the people fury could of fought & ducked in his career, only reason SOME will think fury has a legacy is because of his shite talking, looking good vs the bums he hand picks to fight & just all the showboating saying he’s the best ever, truth is he’s overrated & wen you fight bin men near on all your career & then finally fight someone very skilled & probably the best boxer with tons of heart you’ll get found out, fury came in the best shape of his life,he ain’t never going to be no better & fitter than he was the other night & Usyk will be the same fighter but possibly fitter because Usyk already had 3 camps back to back then one for DDD & then another for undisputed, imo Usyk had over trained & that’s why he looked more tired vs fury than he’d looked in any other fight, yeah Usyk had to work harder because fury’s got such a long reach but he beat fury well & was robbed of finishing fury off in the 9th round,if fury shows up for the rematch & Usyk gets his rest & only does one camp,he will demolish fury & stop him much quicker but i honestly don’t think fury will show up & if he does he messes around with the dates

Lewis did a chicken dance against McCall and Rahman. Fought Holyfield and Tyson way past their prime and avoided Bowe like the plague. He ran around the ring after his chin got exposed. He was good but nowhere near Usyks level. I supported Lewis from the day he fought Mason, but no way was Lewis a great. He even retired after nearly losing to Vitaly instead of facing him again

It turns out that the more fights you have, the more likely you are to lose one or two, it's hardly something to brag about "I had so few fights that I never lost one" lol That doesnt change the fact that Lewis would've wiped the floor with Joshua Fury and Usyk.
