At this point, if a contract isn't given to Harbaugh it'll be a shame. He's brought this team back to the levels it belongs by instilling a culture that puts his fellow coaches and the players in position to be successful in everything they do. In football and most importantly, in life.

I like to believe the majority of fans are similar to you. Diehard supporters of their team but respectful in victory and defeat. It took him a while, but Jim brought this program out of the cellar and created a culture of togetherness and playing for one another. The result is a competitive team at the top tier of the sport, where Ohio State has been for decades. The Game is a lot more fun when both teams are good and healthy.

You obviously were not getting hit and surviving on the playing field. Those were two of the finest teams in football and neither of them were soft. And if you weren't worried or had doubts about the outcome at some points during the game then you are denying reality. It was well played by both and a couple plays made the difference. That was a different Jim back then. The quarterback position was a mess. We could neither pass or run. We celebrated beating Rutgers @ Rutgers like it was the Natty. We were on hard times and Jim had been there 5 years. Lost to Mel Tucker 2 weeks into a contract @ MSU with terrible QB. Got routed by Michael Penix Jr. at Indiana. The wheels had come off the wagon. He put them back on and we are rolling. We love Jim and have known him since 70's but We love Michigan more. Now we cherish them both as a State Treasure. GO BLUE

He deserves a new contract and should be the highest paid coach in the BIG 10! Should be paid more than Ryan Day!!!

I really believe your head coach next season will be Moore. Things are going to change forever next season for the Big 10. Eh, I don’t know. When he left 49ers, he and the San Fran brass were clearly not getting along. Relationship had soured. UM Administration seems to have Jim’s back now and he seems to have a genuine, fatherly affection for his players and assistants.

i really think day put his team at a disadvantage giving his team excuses. As a Michigan fan i don’t doubt the sign stealing is true but he should’ve focused on the now and not give them an excuse for losing legit or not. i also wasn’t surprised. there’s all kinds of rule breaking going on everywhere. if you drug tested all the teams nobody would be fielding a team. i don’t personally have anything against taking them . i do hate thinking that 18-24 year olds are doing it but its such a big part of it they can’t really enforce it and i dont believe they really want to. im almost positive one of the biggest dudes in the ncaa governing body come out and said they’ll never catch the good ones. They are complicit if that’s that’s true when there’s a very very simple fix. imo the ncaa is like most businesses to big to fail and ethics come second to profit. call me a conspiracy theorist but i don’t doubt they’ve deliberately done things like tamper with games or make deals with bookies or gambling entities

I would like to acknowledge that the only coach worthy of a semblance of respect is Coach Ferentz.
