This vaguely sounds like the GE story. Experiences tells us its best to swing wide of any thing with bad accounting issues.
Was this accounting irregularity done with malicious intent to defraud or was it just a management lapse?
If they allowed one accounting irregularity than that means there are likely other issues. Fudging numbers is never a good sign.
They should mention that they are calling us in Mexico whenever they have a problem with the machine.
