For more than thirty years actress Jill Halfpenny has been gracing our TV screens. But away from the glitz and glamour of showbiz, Jill’s experienced grief and personal loss. In her new book ‘A Life Reimagined’, she talks openly about the loss of her father to a heart attack aged just four and then her partner Matt in similar circumstances in 2017. Jill will also be telling us how she had a secret battle with alcoholism when she was struggling with her grief the most. She joins Lorraine this morning to talk about what she has learnt - both about herself and about how we view grief as a society - in the hope of helping others going through the same.
