The high notes in this song do not make this song difficult but the dynamics do. Switching from chest to head voice requires so much technicality and Wendy excellently showcase her skills in this song.

So don't deny the fact that wasn't autotune, her voice is very good. + autotun made to make voice clearer and make the quality of voice good

@@omarerrabaany6411 if there's autotune, i didn't hear it in this performance. And autotune would be really noticeable because it has that robotic sound. And it doesn't make the quality of your voice good though. It corrects pitch. Which in wendy's case, unnecessary.

It was. Actually there is the original version from this video that wasn't enhanced. She struggle a bit at some low notes and her breath is more audible. Still sounds beautiful tho.

In the studio version, the high notes sound like they're hard to hit for her and require effort. But when she sings it live, it sounds like she didn't even have to put effort to hit them because they're just right there and easy to hit.

Her technique has always been top notch. I really love her breathing and control and the cadence to how she enunciates. I can't explain it but one example is at the beginning of Taste and In & Out. Listen to how Seulgi sings to start In & Out and how Wendy comes in after her. On Taste when she sings the prechorous at the beginning it almost sounds like she is rapping, but not really. She does this in Why Can't You Love Me as well. A lot of singers just sing like they are reading, but Wendy puts so much emotion and riffs and runs at times to express the lyrics. I can't explain it but Wendy is one of my favorite singers of all-time and I've been on Earth 5 decades and have heard plenty of singers.

The last part where she supposed to sing that high, she's very clever to change it into her mixed register because she knows if she's singing in full chest voice it'd be much more unstable. A VERY GENIUS CHOICE!

There are so many artists globally that are good in singing, but it is very RARE to find an artist who really conveys the emotions to the listeners. She is not just singing. She is telling a story. So good to have Wendy back. She’s truly the voice of a generation and was meant to move and heal us with her vocals. This song is so difficult to sing in such a controlled manner with zero backing vocals. Plus the dexterity it takes to ace every single vocal run that’s on the recording...hats off to Wendy for a stellar performance. You can tell how much she loves to sing and how happy she is just to get to do what she loves. I know we will never take a second of this for granted.

This is such a difficult & intricate song tbh and so is her other title track 'When this Rain stops.' I wasn't even the one performing it but I actually ran out of breath just watching her perform live. Wendy, you are just out of this world.

Queen Wendy is Back To Eating CD's

She sounds little bit nervous in the beginning but her voice grows a lot steadier towards the end. Even so, she's still very amazing! She sounds exactly like the recorded song (if not better). I'm sure it's because this is her first performance as a soloist and with time, she'll be unbeatable as a vocalist.

It's actually the vibe of the song 😅😅 i don't think she would hold back on stage, I've heard her live and she always give soft at the beginning and when the last past of the song starts she gives power according to the song's requirement

Even if you are not a Reveluv, you can't deny the quality of Wendy's voice

After all the damage this station caused her, she still sings on their platform 😭 Wendy doesn't keep grudges and forgives easily, i mean she's an angel 💙

I don't think Wendy was nervous when she sang this, her voice might be tired from singing non-stop especially on her MV. Despite that fact, that didn't stop her to perform this almost like the recorded one - really a vocal queen

No she definitely is nervous. At least in the beginning. Nervousness makes you pitchy and can make you out of breath/ make it hard to keep a steady air flow while singing. (Hence why she kept taking shallow/loud breaths) Once she got more comfortable, these issues weren't as prevalent. Nonetheless, she sounds great, her vocal color really shined, and I'll give her props for not singing with a backing track. That makes singers sound worse when they have intonation issues

No, she was nervous. You can see at the beginning she was clutching the mic with two hands. Then gradually releases it as she got more comfortable. Nevertheless, she sang it amazingly even with all those nerves

Best live performance I watched so far. Wendy is truly the main vocalist of the 3rd gen.

Her voice and this song is indescribable.

처음 들었을 때는 큰 한방이 없다고 saeng gak 했는데 그게 아니었어 그냥 song 자체가 너무 편안하고 노래도 가볍지 않고 묵직하고 힘들 때 위로 받을 수 있는 웬디의 따뜻한 감성이 가득 담겨 있는 song이야ㅜㅜ 이러면 댓글 안 묻히겠지...^^?

첨에 많이 긴장한 거 같아 보인다ㅠㅠ 솔로 가수 손승완! 화이팅💙 익숙해져야해 앞으로도 계속 솔로 곡 많이 내야지😉💙
