I was there to the left off stage. Was a surreal momment with a storm coming in and the wind. Starting drizzling at one point. I was 17 and drove from MA. Dam its a punch to stomach seeing this.

And all the hard rock crowd suddenly in silence in the joy of this beautiful song and gave respect to one of the most beautiful woman on stage ever ❤️🙏

The crowd responded to the energy of the artists. This was sad and the other bands were mostly angry.

So awesome. My favorite vocalist ever. 😮 All that and a burger too.

Still gives me the chills after all these years.

@@jewel_kilcher I’ve been a fan for a long long time - since Jewel’s first album. When this song first came out I connected it to romantic heartbreak. Mental illness has run in my family although did not affect me - Now as a Parent and having family members and seeing younger members with genetic mental illness - I feel it differently. Romantic heartbreak seems so trivial compared loving a child with mental illness.

The entire weekend was 100 degrees and sunny. Except when Jewel came on, this cool strong wind kicked up and cold light rain came down. It was so refreshing and perfect for the moment. When she was done it went back to being sunny and hot.

Jewel is one of those artists many do not like to admit listening too; a bit too much vanilla and sugar perhaps. She is the guilty pleasure personified. But this performance is literally brilliant. She enchants the crowd with her voice and appearance right after the first lines. The passion in her singing is unmistakable: it goes right through you, even sitting behind a computer screen in times of Covid with a sandwich. My throat got dry, my eyes got wet and the perfectly timed rain is just too good to be true. I wish I was there 2O years ago. Magical!

Put her through colege. Gave her all the life and support i could. Changed my lofe for her. Moved for her. Then i lost my job. Even though we were living off my savings shed say i was worthless and a chire to feed. Waited in the rain for her outside where she worked as i was ashamed to soil her place of work with my drenched stature. Then o saw her with someone else, pretending not to see me. Walked past me twice. Now im at my last straws but ive gathered all my strength and am now building my own company. Love is the worst prison as I love her still. Though I will never be that man again. Now im on the up and up. Women rain like a torrent on me now. Wabting to be with the man ive changed into. Nkt knowing that i can no longer love or trust anyone. Everyone betrayed me. Even my bestfriends. But that's alrifht. I always could play the game. Just nwver wanted to because i rather'd had a simole life with her and my dead kid. But that's aright. Every morning i smoke and pretend to care. But i dont. Am glad I can't no more. Im glad.

The first time I heard Save your Soul ,it gave me chills up my spine....Good to know Im not too old to still feel the shivers from a Jewel song.....Real Talent ...Not Studio created like todays plastic creations...

😍 Love this performance 2020 with Covid 19 everywhere

I was there and it was my 4th time seeing her. 1st time was at pointfest, she came on an everyone just wandered away except me. When she started to yodel ( i think to draw the crowd) everyone came back and they flipped out into awe mode. I think it was maybe 90 or so? She had homemade cds to sell and since that day when i bought it, and watched her, ive followed her ever since,in everything she does. She's also an excellent multi business owner and does A LOT for mental health. She really IS a Jewel 💞✌️💞

Notice the wind and rain. The entire weekend was 110 degrees and sunny but when jewel came on this cool rain and strong wind came in.

Amazing. Girl had severely big balls. Her voice was like none our generation had been exposed to, even after hearing all our parents “greats” that sang solo. You couldn’t get quieter in a 100 person movie theatre nowadays. She owned her moment and still seems like an awesome person.

So I was at Woodstock 99. I was about 20 at the time. I remember the 30 year was such a big thing and the 40th just came and went with nothing. Shows how much music has died. I was really lucky to spend my teenage years through the 90s and go to so many live events in and around Central NY.

Etta Hasnogoats This song is hauntingly beautiful. I’m 70 years old now, and I still have memories of my “Foolish Games moments“. The wounds healed, and the scars remained..... This performance had me crying my eyes out! I was in that moment with her, playing those same games with my significant other, and being torn inside out. Her performance so real, I thought she was actually tearing up and having trouble singing the song. Beautifully vulnerable!
