Jet2 Boeing 737-36N | Leeds Bradford to Palma Mallorca *Full Flight*

Getting myself on one of Jet2's classic 737-300's has been on my to do list for quite some time now, as are many things! However while browsing their website I saw this flight, which was the last flight of the season to Palma until next Spring. The flight was only £21. So I checked the configuration and saw it was booked for one of these 737-300's and thought why not! So off I went for a day out to Palma. The flight, unsurprisingly was absolutely dead. Only 20 passengers on the entire aircraft. But being the last flight of the year from Palma back to Leeds Bradford, I'd imagine the return leg would have been much busier. A grey dull start at LBA and a long wall, outside but under a covered walkway to the other end of the apron where out aircraft was parked. Once on our way and above the gloomy morning clouds we were greeted by a beautiful sunrise. A few shots of other traffic and a little look around the inside and views from other seating positions around the aircraft. There were a few bumps of turbulence, particularly during the second half of the flight. During the descent and approach some beautiful views of the coast around the island and some of the hills before beginning our final approach into a very blustery Palma De Mallorca Airport. At times you can really notice the wing against the horizon line as we battle the gusty winds during the approach.

Love Palma! I remember in 2017 we were going to the gate to get our flight home to the UK. The gate was really near the runway so I went running over to the window shouting " LOOK AT THAT PLANE!!" and turned around to see the gate was suddenly deathly quiet as everyone stared at me and my sons were just stood there shaking their heads 😂 what can I say? I love planes! Thank you for a great video!

Absolutely brilliant, I'm nearly 54 and have never been on a plane yet so that was the next best thing for me, thankyou so much, really enjoyed it x hope you had a good holiday.

On April 3rd 2023, me and my grandad went to Palma to camp de mar and we went on that plane g-gdfl and we sat in row 3 which I think is the row your sat in! I recorded the takeoff and landings as well and came back on g-gdft

turbofanlover: It's all about averages, 75%+(annual)load factor you're making money with an old plane (better if paid in full). If it's a Positioning Flight.......even if just a handful+ of paying passengers are on-board......they are still covering some of the costs and no real losses are incurred. Jet2 seems to have a very successful business model....I would not worry.

Likely to be an end of a tour programme flight. When working at LGW I once boarded a Tristar (393 seats) with only 3 passengers on board. It returned full.

The flight back would have been full or nearly full, its at the end of the summer programme at that time, so the flights will start to decrease
