Jet Star (Bañuls) - Mounted 4K On-Ride POV | Feria de Navidad de Valencia 2021/22

Take a front seat ride on the awesome Jet Star
Not to be confused with the Schwarzkopf namesake though, this is a copy, apparently made by Italian company SDC. It's still neat though, just not as good as the original

Glad you got to ride this - as you will have seen getting Spanish Fair info is not easy in advance! This coaster usually does Malaga in August, Nerja in October regular as well as Valenica in December / January it has also shown up at Murcia August/ September time, La Linia in July.

How come they don't take this to Palma? Weird that they take two mouse coasters but leave this at home 🤷‍♀️

@@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl part of the reason why they have cut back on the islands is the cost of shipping. I don't get why 2 mice are there this year - they usually only take one, but another year they took two Mega Bros Coasters!!!!! As far as I know none of their bigger coasters Selva Encantada (splash coaster) or Ala Delta have not been over there perhaps due to shipping costs. It may also be to do that Palma and Seville dates (not in the case of this year Seville is always Holy Week 2 weeks after Easter a very big holiday in Spain) could fall too close to each other and for Bañuls Seville is their home fair and the biggest fair in Spain and that takes priority as for the bigger coasters starting the new year from home makes sense as from there they will take the short trip to Cordoba. Part of the reason how the coasters get chosen to go where is how the dates fall. In Spain most fairs are around religious dates but the date rule might apply different around that date to the fair. For example some fairs are from a weekend or to a weekend but will always include a saint day as it is usually a local holiday and this is the case with Nerja near Malaga to my knowledge - it must include the 10th and 12th of October but it will include a weekend as well. However on the other side of Malaga is Fuengirola - this fair is 6th - 12th October regardless of what days it falls on it starts on the 6th and will end of the 12th. You can find rides will come in late and leave early to catch another fair. In Fuengirola it has had 2 different Giant Wheels on 3 occasions and in all 3 years whichever wheel it was came in late and opened a day or two later! While the last time Flip Fly Loop Fighter came (you'll see that in Palma) it left a day early to go to another fair elsewhere! Nerja always tends to get Jet Star but in 2019 or 2018 it got the V Coaster and a Bungee on the site instead but I don't know where Jet Star went instead dates must have overlapped somewhere else. Fuengirola always gets the No 1 Mouse I have never known it any different. Murcia at the end of August into mid September tends to change coasters often - perhaps dictated by when Malaga finishes just before that fair starts. And that is one of the few fairs in Spain where you can get a ride map before the fair starts - not long before but early enough to still get cheap flights for the fairs last week. I have even seen videos of Ala Delta open but the mouse next door is still building up with a long way to go. I have seen a fair in full swing with Jet Star still building up. Spain is a very interesting country for rides as many of them are unique to Spain but its so hard to find information on them!

@@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl Actually Jet Star is not from the same owner that took Super Ratón to Palma they both are named Bañuls but their company is not the same,in Palma there's only V.Bañuls Grupo rides(like Super Ratón,Rápidos,Gigant Maxx or XXL ,Mega Bross) and Jet Star is owned by Bañuls Atracciones which has never go to Palma with any of their rides.
