This is soooo me...at 37yrs. When a guy says you beautiful it is easy for me to slip with them. I jus decided last week that this is ENOUGH!! I WANT SOMETHING BEST 4 MY FUTURE. Jus started fasting n m scared that id mess it up. But iv had enough of myself hate. Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable. Currently I'm single and celibate but I started dating in my late teens and I remember being ashamed of being a virgin because the first guy I dated told me he was cheating on me because we weren't having sex. I also couldn't differentiate between a man that loves me and a man that just wanted me in his bed because I wasn't picking people based on God's word and the Holy spirit guiding me but based on what I liked and thought was good for me. It destroyed my self esteem, after some failed relationships even my own sister in a fit of anger tells me how men only want me for sex and that statement stayed with me for so long tormenting my sanity and making me even more devalued but yhooooo. God came through for me in such an amazing way because the healing the Lord has done in my soul humbles me. I feel so humbled by God's love and forgiveness. All this while I have been protected by the Lord and I'm so grateful now for all my experiences because everything I went through allowed God to be exalted in my life. Glory be to God. Amen
