  No 'backsliding' isn't, just a modern term to describe habitual sin, falling away, rebellion, returning to old sinful behaviour/lifestyle etc. But there are biblical examples of this. The children of Israel in the old testament for example, who kept reverting back to their old ways even after leaving Egypt.

  Hi! Rebuilding low self-esteem is quite layered. I'm no expert by any means, but in my experience, it is important to identify the root causes of that low self-esteem. You may realise certain individuals, environments, past events have contributed. There may be need for practical changes, forgiveness etc. But also, a deeply personal, inner work needs to take place with the Father in prayer and in His Word. Address every lie with God's Truth as confirmed by His Word and Holy Spirit. For example if you struggle with low self-esteem especially around your physical appearance, then Psalm 139 would be a great passage to meditate over as you pray for God's healing - He says I am fearfully and wonderfully made, every feeling of "ugliness" is a lie! I hope that helps 🙏 🥰

  I dont know how i have found myself here,but i believe its Gods will cz she is giving out my story. I have backslidden so many times and this week ave been fasting asking God for a breakthrough and have mercy on me. On Thursday i rededicated my life to jesus again and my prayer is this time round i need the salvation to stick.

  This podcast is my first time knowing Rev. Wonu or hearing about her and as I listened to her, I saw my current book play. Yes, to the glory of God I'm a writer of inspirational books in the way of the Lord. This current book is my second book in production amidst other which I didn't put into production. Rev. Wonu's story is like the practical edition of my current book in process, which subtitle is "A believer's ordeal". I'm like, Holy Spirit, why this video at this time and He says, you've got to get the book ready. Thank you, ma.

  This was a really great interview. It would’ve been even better if the interviewer wasn’t completing sentences, and adding in words so often. There’s an art in being able to listen attentively yet silently so that the audience can receive the maximum from the speaker. God bless♥️

The way I've seen in my life and even the lives of other people God just turning situations to powerful testimonies is so beautiful 🥲 God's love for us is just insane and humbling because we're so messy as humans yet God just never gives up on us.
