Honestly Coven was so incredibly meh compared to everything in Freak Show and before it as well. Coven was so tame and isolated everything seemed so small and not impactful tbh.

I don't think she defies the ageing process. Though she is, and looks, elderly, she wears her age as a splendid dress, like no one does: and she is SO comfortable in that dress that all we see is a spectacular artist and woman, not an old actress. And seems to be also pretty down on earth.

Her mannerisms are one of my favourite things about her acting. She is naturally very expressive when she talks. It makes for a very emotional performance.

to the people who is saying she is underrated... she's really not. She has been in iconic movies and won oscars. most of all, she is respected in hollywood for her acting. and after AHS, she has become extremely popular among the younger people while most of her peers have lost fame.

The reason I love American Horror Story is because of her. She just draws you in, man. True talent. She’s just so beautiful, and her acting is actually EXTREMELY believable. Like in season 4 (Freak Show) She showed so many different emotions, and made US feel so many emotions. It’s hard to explain unless you’re a fan of AHS, and most importantly, Jessica Lange.

She could literally talk about cheese and crackers for hours on end and I'd still listen to every single bit of it.

Every bit as beautiful now in her 70s as she was in her 20s. No touchups needed or required. What I love about her acting is she finds a way to inhabit the characters she plays. So many actresses copy or mimic someone. She channels them.

I love how she is so full of curiosity when she decides to take on a role It's so interesting hearing and seeing here candid vs in her roles. Wow 🤓

My mom showed me Tootsie as a kid, and the writing and performances ruined me for most of the comedies that came afterwards. It was just so smart, never played for the laugh but at the same time SO funny. And she is one of the absolute breakout performances in that movie. She's just so good in everything she's in.

Jessica Lange has a distinguished and immortalizing career in acting!

I had the privilege of seeing her on stage in London in Streetcar named desire. She just has the quality of acting that makes you hear the words as if spoken fresh for the first time. More power to her

I really like that they didn't focus the entire interview on American Horror Story. She has had such incredible other roles and I'd glad they highlighted them!

I recently finished watching AHS Asylum, and Jessica Lange really deserves ALL the recognition she can get for her performance as Sister Judy. She is amazing.

She didn’t make it modeling? She’s gorgeous now and even then she was stunning.

Hard reality: her type wasn't what they wanted in Supermodels then. In current times we are much better at broadening out our choices of beauty but she doesn't match what they wanted back then.

She was gorgeous, but she wasn't quite model-perfect. Her teeth, maybe. There was like an imperfection or something in her beauty that actually allowed her to be a real dramatic actress.

@Electra Heart Modelling isn’t about being gorgeous. Many gorgeous people never become successful - it’s about that specific time, what’s needed on the market, artists vision, your height, does the camera love you, your ability to carry a brands message etc.

"I was never successful at modeling" Excuse me, were model agents blind or something? Young Jessica Lange's beauty is mesmerizing. And it's not like she's short. She's 5'8

@@leahx1701 '5'8' is not short for modeling if you are a female. Maybe for a male but definitely not for a female. The average height for a female is ''5'4". I'm almost positive that '5'8' is the minimum for female models and Jessica meets that minimum.

There's one movie no one ever talks about -- no one even seems to know it exists -- but it is a brilliant film and it contains one of Jessica Lange's greatest performances. It is called Music Box.

Jessica IS AHS. When she played in Coven there was nothing or no one better who could have topped it. She is amazing, there is no other way to describe it. The show hasn’t been the same without her.

She's HOT, If I look half as good as that at 70 I'll count myself lucky

I felt in love with her the moment I saw her as Dwan in King Kong.... She lights the screen and leaves you breathless with her portrayal of the characters at hand. She indeed an icon and a treasure!

There wasn't a guy who didn't melt when seeing her for the first time in King Kong. She was the new Marilynne Monroe of that time, but with an instinctual feel for acting. The camera loved her & she loved it right back.
