I get there are economic factors largely determining venue choices (which is insane when you think about it), but to choose some of the hottest regions of the US and play late afternoon games is just asinine. Maybe someday sport will be the focus of sport (as opposed to money), and we won't end up with players & officials having to battle ridiculous conditions which completely affect the quality of the game, and clearly, people's health.

Even when it wasn't about money, you still have the coward shit show of the US coach and USSF setting up a game against Honduras in the hazardous cold temperature in Minnesota in the middle of the winter

It's bizarre, Why are they even hosting a tournament in the Southern US in June? it's too hot. They could do it in Northern US and Canada where it's a little cooler...

40 degrees including the humidity...rarely is it just straight 40 degrees by itself. I am in Canada....the temps in that match weren't anything new....they just like to use that stuff to push leftist agendas. This is why I am watching less sports these days because of all that nonsense. And we know them FIFA refs all have to be minimum 3 j@bs deep as well. Just sayin.

Marsch showed he can manage the subs better than Herdman, but he continues to be outclassed in the tactics department. 4 games so far have proven Marsch ball does not work outside of Concacaf.

Not sure I agree here. Not saying we're barnstorming but three good performances as a group in 4 games. I haven't seen many good personal performances in those games (other than Crepeau) so that tells me the system is working. BLR if the players can get comfortable and start putting in good personal performances we'll be in a good place.

For decades there have been water breaks if the temperature is hot enough. I'm not sure if you watched the game, but when Marsch asked how the referee was he was talking about a linesman who collapsed during the first half due to the heat. He was taken to hospital I believe. So not crazy to think it was hot enough that a water break midway through each half was warranted.
