Michael Cooper is a great host. He asks great questions and then lets the guest speak. This was a great interview.

What a gift Mr. West was to the league, to the Lakers and to us all.

Michael is so lucky if i was blessed to know Jerry i would probably call him everyday.

Next time you get Mr. West on, can you ask him about the 1973 Lakers and how the team compared to the 1972 team, because I know he injured both of his hamstrings, and wondered if he thought that team was nearly as good as the year before. Thanks Coop!

When I was a kid he was always a player who I would look up to and thought was a great player and person and I was from Chicago. Thank you and he is still a great person

I had the opportunity to see Jerry play and he was a scoring machine! Mr Clutch was also a great passer and defender so he's one of the greatest players of all-time. He isn't the Logo for nuthin.

I was hoping Coop asked about Chick. I think he and West are primarily responsible for the Lakers’ long term success.

I've heard many interviews with Jerry West and the two things that are a constant for him... He is humble beyond reproach and extremely diplomatic in discussing individuals... Good interview with Mr. West, Michael!

great interview! Mr. West is one of the greatest GM, Player, and individuals of our time. He a very successfully individual and knows the game inside out. I recommend read is autobiography and you will have even more of insight of this great laker and person.

5:40 would have loved to hear what he was about to say.
