Jerry changing his tune about the toaster strudel when told about the icing packets: “That sounds strong I have to admit” 😂😂
Watched the movie last night. Surprised at how good it was! Really laughed. All the cameos got to shine.
Loved the ending of Curb. When I saw that it was going in the direction of the Seinfeld ending I was so excited but then the twist came and it was really a true moment of grace! Clapped during the credits. Truely one of the greatest endings of a show ever. 🎉😂
He's hung on to the spirit of youth, me too. Sad when people lose that. 😂
This made me more tense than any interview ever. Well done.

I agree, a lot of tension. Perhaps Jerry is tired, fed up with press interviews, away too long from stand up (his natural habitat), and I know Marcus Aurelius is there to help him enjoy the bad reviews but they must get to you a bit after so much effort, even if you only wanted them to be better for the co-stars and writers. I thought this interviewer was classy and gracious and I really enjoyed the 'quick question' comeback re this line being used in the film.
With Jerry’s palate, never having tried a toaster strudel is a crime
Quick question....have you noticed how many times Larry says ..."let me ask you a question "...in Curb ?
I’m rewatching Seinfeld

I've watched it start to finish 4-5 times and still laugh every time. It never gets old.
The Best thing about Jerry Seinfeld is when he truly laughs. Great smile, great sounding laugh, and all true. Xx
Jerry is so smart and he loves his art. He's thought about all of his art form and he enjoys it so much. I can't help but like him because he enjoys what he does.
I loved the Seinfeld finale!!!! Could not have been better!

Agree! It certainly did not deserve all the negativity it received.
Great interviewer . Jerry is a tough cookie and likes to pontificate, this guy was quick in his questions, responses and listened majority of the time👍🏻
Matthew McConaughey played a character who came up with an ad campaign called Frosted.
Jerry is classic. ❤❤❤ so genuine and funny. Love you Jerry!
Loved the movie! Watched it 2 x Lots of subtle politics snuck in. Superbly done Jerry Seinfeld
I wish so bad I could interview him too! Awesome stuff
I love how geniuses and experts (not to be mistaken for teachers) talk about what they do like it's the easist thing ever, like it's instinctual.
great interview
Great Interview
Thank you for this *spectacular (yes, I could not resist that *choice of term😉) interview.🙇🏻♀ Incidentally, I saw "Unfrosted" on May 3rd and thought it was hysterically funny🤣 Best wishes, Andrea S.
No matter what anyone says, I for one thought the ending was perfect and courageous. Pure genious, from start to finish. Getting them out of jail would have felt too obvious. After nearly a decade of hedonistic superficiality, there was karma (ie, consequences). Although they clearly were not going to learn anything from it. Seinfeld helped bring about my conversion from the superficial life!
I’m not a stand-up, I’m a schmuck 9 to fiver like most people.. But I have essentially done the same thing with my life. I’m 49 years old, I still collect baseball cards and action figures, I love old cartoons and do fantasy baseball and play with my kids toys with them. I literally just finished a bowl of Rice Krispies at 11 PM. I am basically a 16 year-old living in a 49-year-old’s body.
I always liked the Seinfeld ending. Still do.
I read the headline for this video and thought, "Wow, Jerry is going be asked the same questions, AGAIN!" So I didn't watch it. Jerry was provably thinking the same thing during the interview.
I love Jerry's attitude. I'm close in age to him and I never plan to 'grow up'. I stay at about a 5 yr old mentality. At the risk of sounding full of myself, I really think I am fun to be around. I can be alone and have a great time. I take myself out on excursions and stop and smell a lot of flowers. If my humor leaves me for a bit, I really suffer. Comedians are like puppies always looking around to see if there are any other puppies to play with, lol.🤣
I thought the Seinfeld finale was perfect. These were four very narcissistic, self-absorbed characters, who let John Pinette get mugged without trying to help him. Depraved indifference. It was absolutely fitting that they ended up in jail. I haven’t seen the Curb finale yet because I haven’t seen a bunch of the episodes in between the first season and now and want to binge watch the entire Series in order before getting to the final season and the finale. Sure I won’t be disappointed. Also I loved Unfrosted. It was a lot of fun,. And casting Bill Burr… Genius!

Could not agree more, ending was perfect. I do NOT get the hate. What else could they have done?? Just another episode, then they go they separate ways. The finale was perfect!
1. Love how he mentions the abrasiveness of fruit loops. 2. I'm with him on the "quick question". It's usually followed by the longest context explanation ever.

That is so cool! I'm like that as well. I'm in my 60's. Since I was a kid, I still act silly, love to make people laugh, love cereal, basketball, baseball, college football, table hockey, (not foosball), ice hockey, the one with the rods that you have to pull and push, some come with a bubble top. My brothers got one for Christmas then I bought one as an adult. I need to get a new one. I still like dolls. I have two baseball gloves, one pink and the other is my late brother's. I like playing softball, eating licorice, and peanut m&m's. When I was in college, I would buy a bunch of penny candy, sit in the library, study and eat my candy. I loved it!! Our washer and dryer didn't work half the time when I was young, so we often went to the laundromat. Now if I go to the laundromat, I feel like I'm home.

Tom, i wish you would have asked Jerry if he prefers Shreddies over Diamond Shreddies. I think he would love that advertising story.

Now I u derstand why there are so few women in stand up, we have to grow up😂
The single biggest thing people hated about Seinfeld's ending is Seinfeld ending.
We have toaster strudels in the USA. I used to eat them all the time.
They could do another seinfeld episode where they all finally get released from jail after doing their time.
It’s blowing my mind that shreddies are Canadian

Unfrosted was great. Just a silly joke packed comedy. Not trying to be something deep or multilayered. Just funny.

I remember when Jerry once said during a stand up, that he never wanted to make a movie because, "you go to a bad movie, and your stuck there for two hours...you make a bad movie and your stuck there for 2 years" or something like this. So why the hell did he decide to make this piece of crap? Hypocrite
How could you not have asked him about one vacation-related incident that spurred a jerry/larry type convo
Somebody send Jerry a box of Toaster Strudels. He will see that they are superior to the Pop Tart.

So true. I don't know why anyone likes Pop Tarts. They're like pieces of cardboard that taste slightly like the filling indicated on the box. Of course that won't stop me from watching Unfrosted.

@@johnmckenzie4639well they are very different. I don’t eat either these days as they are loaded with HFCS and other crap but when I did, I loved a toaster strudel, but you have them at home. They are frozen and need to go in a toaster and then need to be iced. Pop tarts can be eaten un toasted so you can bring them everywhere. I remember always having a pack of pop tarts in my back pack, you can bring them on a trip as a snack, for camping etc. toaster strudel tastes better but pop tarts you can have on the go, which is an advantage.

@@watchreport To be fair, I haven't had either in many years, so Pop Tarts may have improved. And they certainly win the portability contest. Everyone's taste is different. I should have just said I prefer Toaster Strudel.
Seinfeld and Curb connection really starts at 9:20. BTW, the Seinfeld finale really sucked, but the curb finale kind of did make up for it, although the last 2 years of Curb was barely tolerable.. Of course I'm a fan of both. Oh, yeah, I didn't see unfrosted, but the reviews are not that stellar - hmmm.
So what you’re saying is “It’s called Sputnik” changed your life.
That wasn't the only mistake. The Seinfeld finale blew chunks.
@mikeh.853
Күн бұрын
Disagree. Finale wasn't bad at all...everyone was just expecting some magical unbelievable fantastical ending because Seinfeld was the greatest show of all time. That's unrealistic! Can't beat 9 years of perfection.
Jerry hides his intellect well here and makes it all look accidental for us. I see so many similarities between him and dice clay. Not in obvious ways but thier view of things and that natural comedic dna. It’s clear one works clean and one not. Both have a way of always being in a bit and creating it on the spot with precision and not contrived. It’s a relief to watch a person that recognized thier path early on; followed it and lives effortlessly because of that.
What an extraordinary genius, Jerry Seinfeld!
I'll use Jerry's line when i turn 60 in 2 years How do you feel ? I DONT CARE 😂

i liked the Seinfeld ending….they were in a serious situation, but so immature they don’t grasp the seriousness…they’re talking about George’s buttons…how could that be more perfect?
Jerry's getting cranky in his old age. Come to think of it, maybe he's always been that way. I remember the Larry King interview.

Love Seinfeld. Love Curb. Did not love Unfrosted. I didn't even like it.
Do Shreddies taste like Chex or like Life?
Was he on Jeffrey's Island?
Jerry Seinfeld is without a doubt the most intelligent and original entertainer ever -in my very qualified opinion. I am right most of the time. Of course Jerry Seinfeld is doing all of it. GOAT. although he was born in the year of the HORSE.
