I love how at the end he says Please Don't. Jerry is just the epitome of intelligence and class.

@bonzology I think he said Please Dont about the Trump question because hes smart, hes seen the division that the media has caused combatting him for three years and given how divided the country is hes smart enough to know that a lot of idiots will flip if he says "Sure I'll go knock on Trumps window." Which I believe he would in a second. He knew Trump before the Dems and media got started in on him.

I love Jerry he has mastered the art of speaking to the degree humans can. Dominates conversation.
No matter the skill level of the interviewer, Jerry floats on clouds 😄
Jerry has always had great insight on life. Funny and true.
Smart and Funny. I grew up watching Seinfeld. Best Show Ever ❤️
So many comedians now are saying "everyone is too sensitive, you can't make jokes anymore" but the real comedians understand that good comedy plays off of society's beliefs, and that those change over time. Comedy has to be fluid, you can't expect to tell the same jokes as you were 30 years ago. Real comedians know how to navigate that, and Seinfeld seems to get it.
Jerry Seinfeld is the finest comedian: Great story teller, very funny, well groomed, rich vocabulary, well read confident and handsome.
Jerry Seinfeld is the funniest guy ever. Love him!
^Cannot get enough of Jerry Seinfeld.
He described my parents exactly! I really loved them for that.
I’m so glad Jerry never gave up the act.
One of the best interviews of Jerry I have seen.

Mikez whats “claghter”?
@topramen5344
3 жыл бұрын
@@siccboy377 it’s like when a comedian tells a joke to get applause rather than an actual laugh that’s “claghter” not that it’s a legitimate term I don’t think, what I mean is if you say a trump joke to a liberal crowd, even if the joke itself isn’t that funny you’ll probably still get applause for whatever you’re saying in the joke
I say Jerry's top strength, is knowing exactly which line should follow after "A bubble boy??"
The purest stand up comedian of all time .
I will listen to anything Jerry says ever ever ever ever ever and forever to the end of ever

Others have commented asking if the full interview is available somewhere - I’ll add to that list. If anyone knows, please share. I’ve searched but found nothing 😀
Wow hearing that Jerry’s parents were both orphans .!!! Trying to raise my brothers son my brither passed away . That Truky hit me immensely In raising him.
Jerry is brilliant. The only issue i have with him is that he usually doesn’t like to be controversial and push the boundaries like late George Carlin. He more likes to play benign jokes. There are a few exception though. Like his speech after receiving the HBO comedians award when he went on to argue that awards are stupid! That speech was just epic and one of the best.

I think the office did a great job at capturing the whole country.
Where can we see the full interview?
Staring at Obama's apples in the Oval Office, "Are those washed?"
The best part of the Obama episode was the actor who was lucky enough to get the part of telling Jerry that he wasn't going to leave the property no matter who was with him in the car.
Genius
“Will we see you outside knocking on the window of... Trump? Jerry- “please don’t.” Classic.
I have so many parallel views as Jerry. I'm sure a lot of people do which makes him such a touchstone. I should be tired of him, but I'm definitely not. "You ain't nobody!"
'Most of normal life does not interest me at all' - NICE!
Several sources report that Seinfeld said (and the statement was in quotes), "I don't play colleges, but I hear a lot of people tell me don't go near colleges. So,what's going on Jerry?

A quick Google informs me peak The Office national viewership was #41. Seinfeld was #1. Friends and Big Bang are the only sitcoms since Seinfeld that were #1, although ratings were significantly lower for Friends than Seinfeld (which is probably just a sign of the start of general cable TV decline), and significantly lower for Big Bang than Friends. The Office isn't close to any of these shows. Thankfully. Because it went on 5 seasons too long and all. That being said, Big Bang also has warn out its welcome if this year's numbers are an indication. Seinfeld wouldn't know what it's like to shrink, because he was classy, and went out while still growing and on top.
Juuuust haaaad to bring in the politics in there at the end. Jerry is with us see, see. NO SOUP FOR YOU!
Hello.... Newman
Is it possible for another 'funny' show to find mass appeal? He says its possible, but what about The Big Bang Theory? I mean you can't deny the mass appeal and success of that show whether you like it or not.

I've binge watched Jerry's interviews....he's not a fan of fancy men's socks. Nice of him not to say anything.
The 1st time I watched Seinfeld, I did find it eccentric and not funny. But a few years later I watched it again it was totally funny. Now I've watched maybe 10 times, still funny.
Jerry Seinfeld is great but he looks like he is going to throw darts at his interviewer. Maybe he hates being interviewed too.
Jim Gaffigan played for the Pope. Now really, what other comedian will ever get to do that.
@ghostshipone

Gaffigan is the best going around these days. Seinfeld respects him too.. both are very well prepared performers who write a lot to get the show right.
Was Seinfeld the one on the left or the right? I love Seinfeld by the way and have seen every episode 10 times.
Audiences are too fragmented now for a show to capture the "whole" country. Too many platforms.

Seinfeld the show was great. Seinfeld the one guy not so much. I think he confuses the difference.
Nothing less funny than a comedian talking about how funny they are.
Can Obama come out and play.
Trump has made a show which has captured the whole country. I never used to follow the news, now everyone follows it with the detailed attention they would pay to a popular hit show. It's too bad it's not funnier.

Jerry just confirmed to me he does have a god complex.. he compared himself to god creating an oak tree.. which is ridiculous anyway as god doesn’t exist.. but watching comedians in cars you get this feeling Jerry does think he he’s some Ethereal entity.. Larry David doesn’t give off that vibe
Success has been less kind after the fact than during.

@@dazombie2012 yes. They would be atheists. But...your question made me look into it. Jewish atheism isn't uncommon. Many Jews are culturally and ethnically Jewish but are non believers. A Jew can be a non believer but still be considered a Jew. Even strictly conservative Orthodox Jews would accept an atheist born to a Jewish mother. In 2011 a study found half of American Jews have doubts of GOD'S existence. Albert Einstein used theistic language and identified strongly as a Jew while rejecting the notion of a personal GOD. Carl Sagan had similar feelings.Sigmund Freud, Karl Marx also. The difference I think...is that while a Jewish atheist can be a Jew but there can't be a Christian atheist
i tried to do a stand up, I cried i am so unfunny
not that there's anything wrong with that
Your son I think he's funny. He's not my son he's your son, He's not funny he's just misunderstood. I found some good humor bars under his bed. How can he have a sense of humor when he's not old enough to have a uterus. I'm telling you the kid thinks he's funny. It's only funny when other people laugh. He's still laughing at his own jokes. Other people would laugh if he didn't tell the joke so poorly. Maybe if he had more than one joke. Two jokes doesn't make a routine. He's just in the habit of telling that one joke poorly. Are you saying my son is coming out as being funny? It just strikes me as peculiar. He's not funny yet, but he could be. Maybe he'll wake up funny one day. Stranger things have happened. The day he makes me laugh that'll be funny.

That is because he has an extremely inflated ego. When he came to perform in Tel Aviv, he had demanded as a condition of his performance that a certain brand of mineral water be provided to him, even though that brand is not sold in Israel. We make our own mineral water here, and it is sufficient to slake our thirst.
