Yeah thwy were being overly critical but to be fair- What person in their right mind would keep the note in the first place? And why tell morty?? I understand why he kept it (probably because it was just eating him up inside not to be honest about why all that happened) But its definitely something that should be shared with a therapist, not your family unprovoked 💀 Ricks getting better and he’s still learning, so i’d throw him a bone Ricks so desperate to be liked by people its sorta funny/sad how easily he buckles when people make it clear that they’re only in support of him bettering himself when it benefits them. But again- To be fair pissmaster and a lot of ricks weird enemies in general try to “get back at him” by specifically involving and targeting unrelated people into the mess, so it makes sense why they’d be upset about it Not everybody’s morty. It WOULD be pretty annoying if because of someone you knows reputation, some rando is now directly and indirectly specifically getting in the way your life, your day and your things to get that person. All for that person to not do anything about it despite drawing them here. Its pretty nuanced all around

"Rick saves orphan island that he personally endangered" would be a more accurate description

That was all part of his plan that would have gone off without a hitch if Jerry did not interfere. Rick wanted to give Piss Master a more worthy send-off so he would remembered as a hero.

I love that Rick's inventions usually require him putting them together on the fly. Makes it more visually interesting and impressive.

This show should turn into Rick and Jerry. They are basically the only characters who are growing
