I love this. It’s the simplicity for me. Just let a natural voice go and let it ring. No need for the elaborate stuff that happens in our modern world.

My grandfather use to sing this song when it was nap time. This song reminds me of being safe and loved.

I remember being about ....7 or 8 watching stir crazy with my mum and dad (not really paying attention as I was constructing a fishing rod out of k’nex to attach ham to and torment the cat with... and don’t moan at me she was horrible and needed taking down a peg) as soon as grossburger started singing I stopped and listened ........ beautiful, I don’t know the fella singing this version but it’s OUTSTANDING absolutely beautiful 👌🏻

Awesome version. Thought it was the original or at least comparable. I always thought the scene in the movie was hilarious because this great voice obviously wouldn't be coming out of that big guy. When I was a kid and saw this on t.v my brother and I found it hysterical. A badly dubbed sweet voice coming out of this behemoth. Much to surprise it actually was him singing. Quite incredible. I noticed your version is actually a half step higher than in the movie too. Nice job. It sounds like an Irish lament.
