Wonderful to see the great Andy Williams - by far the greatest singing talent of his era.
Incredible Classic Performances,By A Cast of Thousands, Including Sammy Davis Junior and Jerry Lewis and Ed McMahon
Happy Labor Day 2020, America. Just because everything else this year is upside down is just all the more reason to watch these videos this weekend, so that for at least two days we have stuff right-side up.

It’s sad that this telethon never continued to keep it alive.

I hear you. What was even sadder was the excruciatingly long drawn out killing of the telethon. Did ANYBODY watch the 3-hour non-Jerry Lewis ones in the early 2010's? It's like trying to watch Drew Carey host the Price Is Right: an abomination. Everything in this world is mortal. Don't keep stuff alive after its time.
Excellent compilation of song, comedy- Red Buttons was a riot! The McDonald Jazz Band was really swinging, Sammy being Sammy. The Tap sequence is surprisingly entertaining. It all felt live at times and then it ends. Great video. Many thanks.
Love the dance routines~ Damn those suits are BLUE!! LOL! I also, did not know that Emmanuel Lewis had a brother that was a performer, too. Lastly, looky there at the great Charles "Honi" Coles....what a fabulous hoofer he was. Unfortunately, his last appearance, anywhere, was in the film "Dirty Dancing"....he passed away not long after that. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful videos.
Sammy and Jerry singing with a smoke goin! Ahaha So late 70's early 80's 🤦...but that's the way it was
Miss ya Jerry
For me, Sammy was the most talented of the Rat Pack. Sinatra gets the attention, but Sammy was the best all around entertainer of all of them.
Donald O'Connor sounded just like Neil Diamond here
do you have the last 2 hours of the '77 or '78 telethon when Ed gave Jerry a haircut as a result of a Ray Kroc donation/challenge? It's the year they went 5-6 million over the previous year's total. never saw anything like it before or after...
When wasthaf song I can do that I saw it in a chorus line
