I knew Jenas was a joke when we got our matched cancelled vs Liverpool via protests and this man on national tv questioned why fans were protesting and said that the Glazers have been spending money. Just for that, he’s genuinely the pundit I hate the most, and I haven’t listened to him since then! Not going to bother with him, just came to see what the comments were saying and I thank God that I came to what I expected. Honestly fair play to his agent, he should Kmt have ever appeared on tv ever again after that statement

I don’t understand how top pundits can’t see how ten hag is trying to play. Carragher has explained it on his Sky coverage. He’s clearly of two minds: wanting to press aggressively but also having slow CBs like Maguire and Evans who can’t play a high line. Those guys drop back and leave a massive hole in midfield. Eriksen and Casemiro can’t cover the ground and it’s a mess. If you watched our good matches with Licha and full squad, that gap is much smaller, and we are much harder to beat. We had the most clean sheets last year which nobody seems to remember.

Those clean sheets had nothing to do with Ten Hag's non-existent tactics, and everything to do with David De Gea being United's goalkeeper. Why Ten Hag apologists are trying to re-write history to save his job is mystery; not that I'm complaining, of course. It's always people that aren't affiliated to Manchester United that contest Erik Ten Hag's management. Whereas over 90% of Manchester United supporters want Erik Ten Hag to be maintained as their manager.

Jermain Jenas...as if MUFC fans care what you think about the situation. Most so called "Pundits" do not have the intelligence to see the problems Ten Hag faces, the most obvious being that he has not had key players (like Martinez and Varane) for most of the season. With them we can play a high line and suffocate the opposition and keep the ball better.

For me, the biggest takeaway from this season is either these pundits genuinely do not understand how player personnel impacts tactics or they are purposely disregarding this to constantly sensationalize United. Because for the amount of time these pundits keep going on and on about United they offer next to no actual real analysis about the real problems with the team this past season. And it’s really not that complicated when it comes to United. Shaw and Martínez being out for the vast majority of the season on the left side of the back four completely threw off everything for United. People unfamiliar with the squad and how Ten Hag actually wants to play will label that as an “excuse.” But it’s the cold, hard reality. United’s real problems began and ended with Shaw and Martínez both being out and it quickly metastasized from there.

@@nigelw7626 It’s not the least bit deluded. Anyone who actually knows the squad knows that Shaw, Martínez, Varane, and Dalot are the best back four for United by a mile. The drop off in quality to Maguire, Lindelof, Evans, Casemiro, and Wan Bissaka is massive. And the drop off to those 5 players has a huge domino effect on how the team is set up. The only deluded is you not knowing United’s actual squad dynamics.

On the day, Sheffield United actually performed better than United, which admittedly is a very low bar, but the lack of any clinical goal scorers in their squad meant they couldn't capitalise on their superior performance.

I am shocked that there is a dearth of real football experts in England. If you really want to have former footballers, at least get some stars.
