Kris Kross, TLC, Xscape, Da Brat, Usher, Monica, Ghost Town Dj's, Dj Taz, Jagged Edge I can go on and on. Jermaine did his thing back in the day. Man those were some good times!

Cant forget Mariah. It was his idea to make her sing on hip hop beats.

hahal butchonly And????? how does that make old though? Just because I remember those eras of music. Old is what my grandmother is. But the truth really is, is that you are young as hell though! Also isn't this interview about those eras & what Jermaine did for music in those times?

JD has to be considered one of the greatest to ever do it. He's brought so many hits to the game it's ridiculous.

Actually he still is producing. He's doing the new jagged edge album j.e. heartbreak 2. He's been putting up videos on IG in the studio working on their album. And Monica's new album also.

He still does…He's just not as good breaking new artists nowadays…He brought talented singer Dondria, & a few other acts…It doesn't always workout but at least he still putting people in the picture for notice...

What he did for music in the 90's was undeniable. I wore Usher's My Way, TLC's first three albums and Kris Kross' first and third albums out. I never fully invested in Xscape or Da Brat albums, but I sure did have the singles. I also like the work that he's done with the woman who was never able to do what she did on record, live and typically lip-syncs every single time she gets on the microphone. The Big Poppa remix was coo', but the original version means a lot more to me.

Jermaine's first two albums (life in 1472 & instructions ) were dope. After that he should've stopped rapping. But this dude is a legend. Not even for the things he done in hip hop but mainly for r&b. Usher, mariah Carey, jagged edge, xscape, monica, TLC .etc. He changed the sound of r&b after teddy Riley left..I would've liked to see his progression into other genres like rock or edm. But regardless he is a hall of famer. I grew up on his music.
