I don't believe Thompson should get a technical foul. He was upset that that the trip Sochan by wasn't call. It was only "review" after the scuffle so you can say he created the scuffle to warrant the ref attention to review the dirty play made by Sochan. If the ref did a better job at noticing it earlier, Thompson would've not start the scuffle. Not sure if offsetting the technical means Thompson will get away with the fine but I doubt not.
