youre on drugs, there's lots of asians that get scholarships. him being in California made it even easier cause the diversity. reality there was probably tons of high school player in cali, but never made it for one reason or another. give lin credit, he made use of all talent he had and he produced when he got the chance under pressure. I like lin, but youre out of touch with reality

John Wall couldn't do a thing against Lin. Who knew that Wall's kryptonite is an undrafted guy from Harvard? Lin won the crowd over the no. 1 pick in the draft. 'Nuff said.

trezeguet4ever What Kneefur said in a nutshell, lol. Lin was a LEGIT mid-late first round talent that should've been taken within that section of the 2010 draft and yet...every NBA team out there just couldn't see past his Asian-American/Ivy League background and left him hanging. I mean he was putting up Division 1 numbers that even forced the NCAA to finally recognize him as a candidate for both the Bob Cousy AND John Wooden awards during his senior year at Harvard. No small feat on Lin's part, ftm. I have a feeling he'll end up becoming the star player he was meant to be as soon as some team wisens up to the fact that he is indeed THAT DAMN GOOD AND STILL GETTING BETTER!!!;-D

Let's not forget that Wall was only 19 years old and Lin had just graduated from Harvad and was the more mature player. What I don't get is why no one wanted this guy. I thought back then in summer league that he proved he was an NBA player. Honestly it was probably because he was asian.

The other thing is Warriors know now they can expect to get a lot of asian americans from San Francisco and the rest of the bay area to buy tickets to watch the warriors play because of this. Lead harvard to a title AND with no players around him of worth. Then getting nothing on draft night, the heartbreak i can only imagine. and then PROVING himself in the summer league by beating the number 1 pick. That is what legends are made of and now the warriors have Lin? how apt, he is a warrior

I am not a Lin fan, but some of y'all are just hating on him. He is an average NBA point guard, but he has a winner's mentality. That's what differentiates him from other backup or average starting 1's in this league. I believe he can pull off stephon marbury type numbers. He's been proving to people his entire life that he's really good, and its people like you guys who shoot them down
