Since Jeonghan is the second oldest, Scoups has said multiple times that he realies in him a lot to take care of the members since they are so many. During predebut days Jeonghan was the bridge of communication between the maknaes and the hyungs since approching them was a little difficult for the younger ones. Also Scoups once said that Jeonghan is the coolest friend he has, that just shows how much admiration and respect he has for him.

You are right, he adores jeonghan because the leader weight on him was so hard and the youngers often scared of him, and thankful it changing after his hiatus, the members now more playful towards him, and that's why jeonghan become the counselor of the group, he also heartbroken by his old bff, doyoon if you knew (wally is about him), that's why in every predebut videos, jeongcheol seems not close because of this and the hierarchy in trainee systems was so harsh, that's why "mingyu sunbaenim was created", the original culprit is seungcheol. Jeongcheol more closer after their's hiatus in 2019-2020, I think because they were had deep talk during those times.

Scoups is very physically affectionate with everyone but ESPECIALLY Jeonghan. Like the shipping for fun aside, Scoups genuinely loves Hannie a lot. He’s said this numerous times that Jeonghan (and Joshua) are his bestest friends in the world. He considers svt members in general to be closer than his family but 95 liners (Scoups, Jeonghan and Joshua) are very very close. And when it comes to Jeonghan, Scoups appreciates him even more because Han is the closest with other members. Honestly speaking, SCoups love language is physical touch and he does show this kind of affection towards other members as well, but obviously it hits different with Jeonghan. They complement each other. Jeonghan on the other hand likes to hold on to something for emotional support, so it's his thing to hold hands, intertwine fingers, and he also does it with all members, but yes Jeonghan and SCoups friendship/ bond hits different. As for the whipped part, aren't all of us whipped for Jeonghan? SCoups really has the vibe of a leader. But Jeonghan is also a very reliable member. SCoups aura is enough to tell you that he's the leader, and his expression of love is actually loud that you can notice almost immediately, while Jeonghan's love is very subtle, you'll see it if you are observant enough. Jeonghan looking out for everyone or caring for others or taking the lead, you'll see only if you have watched enough content or observed well. The members rely on Jeonghan a lot and go to him for seeking advice or to talk about their problems because he's a good listener, he validates them, supports them and honors their wishes. At the same time, he's very wise and intelligent, so he gives them good advice and also is quick thinker, so he solves their problems well.
