the first tiktok junhao were guesting on a survival show called chao yin zan ji in china which was basically a stage for different established artists to breakthrough with new types of performances through partnering up with one another. so this was further into the competition where minghao wanted to partner with one of his long-time idols that he looked up to as a kid, but this artist (isn’t the one in the video with the mic) was against the whole show because he had this superiority complex and honestly looked down on minghao and jun for “not being real artists” cos they were kpop idols, and he walked off the stage when minghao used his first place winning from the previous stage to collab with him, effectively leaving him hanging and embarrassing him on the show. the guy with the mic in the video felt the same way tho less intense but both of them basically left the competition together, it’s one of the sadder moments for minghao and jun because it was a totally unexpected situation, in one of the background interviews of the show minghao also said that he had encountered many moments in this show that he has never been through before throughout his idol career, and so in that moment, jun was the first one that went up to minghao to comfort him and hug him, he was also the most upset by the whole situation because of how unfair it was to minghao 🥹🥹🥹 junhao best friends forever 💔

Jony didn’t really have superiority complex it was more like he didn’t like that the show was set up in a way where the idols had better chances at winning the stages because they were already really well known while artist like Eric, jony, and Gong (the one with the mic) had legit zero chances of winning because let’s be honest while yes all of the artist were very talented however if it was based purely on talent Gong would have won the stages. I do agree tho that Jony leaving the way he did was really petty and Gong followed because Gong is a legit introvert and he would have felt alone with out jony.

That’s so messed up. I’ve seen similar situations like that happen where the idol finds out the person they admired is an a**. One day that guy may regret his actions and apologize to Minghao. Thank you for the explanation.

@@itzy_r no, talents not only about making music and rap, you are wrong if you think gongge would win if it was based on pure talents, "artist" was form from "art" so it can be singing,dancing,acting,playing musical instrument, composing/making music,lyrics,etc, and jun the8 and maybe other contestan can do all of it, but gongge n jony j only knew abt making music and rap, n the purpose of that show was collaboration, if they don't have team work ability they will fail

FINALLY JUNHAO YESSS their friendship is so wholesome

All of seventeen hang out with the others parents. There was one time when they were in LA for a concert and on their off time Joshua called Hoshi to go out to dinner but Hoshi was at Joshua house and Joshua mom was cooking for Hoshi. Another time the8 went to Mingyus house and had a while day hanging out with Mingyus dad. Seventeen and the parents and their siblings are super close. It's so wholesome.

7:03 As a Chinese who uses the language on a daily basis, I can assure you Ben, that all the clips you used in this video when Junhao were speaking Chinese, they were all real translations, not edited at all 🤭They look like fake subs but aren't, that's how comfortable Junhao are with each other, and I'm very sure we all love to witness that ❤

Fun Fact when it´s about the parents of SVT. All of the members are close with each parent of the other. It was hilarious when Wonwoo learned that THE8 went fishing with his dad, and he had no idea. Hoshi went out to grab a meal with Joshua´s mom when they were in America and he had no idea about it. The parents know each other well too and since Joshua´s parents live in America, Wonwoo´s family is "taking care" of him. They are all so precious

Seventeen have many genuine and soft duo. Actually all of them are soft to each other. Even the Chinese line or American line are so so close with the korean line. No one is left out. For Seventeen, I can see that they will be friends with each other for a long time.

Junhao's gotta be one of my favourite friendships in SVT. They complement eachother so well

Yeeeesssssssss another of my fave friendships!!! The8 and Jun are so so precious. I wish the clip of The8 picking Jun on that one Chinese show was in one of these edits. It's my favorite moment of them, Jun looking so nervous waiting for The8 to pick him and then so happy after. Literally makes me tear up every time I see it. Chinaline for life!!!

Thank you so much for the efforts of making these videos:) maybe I can try to explain more of junhao:) 1. The video that Minghao teared up..that was a china's music program (competition) that Junhao participated in 2018 that they did different performances/stages based on different topics assigned or with different artists (including singer and rappers). However..it's program with bad management...and also sth happened on Junhao (respectively). So the moment you watched in the clip is one of the parts that turned him to be the bad guy (actually minghao did nth, but 2 rappers said they did not want to work with idols after they agreed to do so...) therefore Jun tried to comfort him...And for Jun, he left the program because of his teammate that also left due to health reasons. As it is a duo stage, Jun decided to withdraw but the program edited and also did not explain much...which lead to so many misunderstanding afterwards... 2. in late 2021, junhao received different job offers in China that they need to go back for filming. But due to the travel restrictions, their company decided to send them back for whole 4 months (Sep to Dec, so no need to go back and forth and spend extra on the quarantine). That's why they missed an album promotion with seventeen and also an online concert with the members. But they did live video calls with members during the concerts:) 3. That photo, those are minghao's parents went to Korea in CNY:) And Junhui spent the time and had new year eve's dinner with Minghao's family:) seventeen members are so close with each others' parents. And the parents are close with other parents too:) Their parents always say they have 13 sons~ 4. Actually Chinese will not bow everytime like that..But I believe Junhao doing that because they are foreigners and they would like to show their politeness as much as they could. tmi: in the past there were moments that the hosts asked seventeen to do the Korean bow during interviews of award shows after they received a huge award. Scoups (leader) and some members mentioned Junhao will stand and do a deep bow instead as they are foreigners. A long paragraph lol but hope this helps! Seventeen has lots of great moments when they are together, also..different ships including wonwoo x jun..minghao x mingyu..etc :)

You should also see seokhao, ship of seokmin and minghao. They're so soft with each other, they're my comfort ship...
