Andrew Stevens she said in a video with Shane Dawson that she was forced to sing by her manager and team since icarly and Sam and cat were canceled. She even made a joke about her music attempt and said it was terrible and so was her singing. I think she actually had a chance if she stuck with it.

I’m here in 2023 after reading her book and I never realized till now how beautiful her singing voice is. Jennette was amazing as an actress and singer but it wasn’t what she wanted. Living proof that just because you’re good at something doesn’t mean it’ll make you happy.

Had to come find this while reading her memoir, I'm Glad My Mom Died, because I reached the part where she's touring for this song (and album) as she develops bulimia. Strange to listen to this and have the very first lyric be about her mother, knowing what I know now. The song itself is so good too, which ironically makes it harder to listen to for me.

Just taking a look back.... and being upset about how People don't talk about how she's Sooooo underated... She's soo pretty, her voice is sweet as sugar and she is just so creative.

yea, dont undermine how hard and heroic and how much effort that took!! her poor mother fought that damn illness as hard as she could! she did beat breast cancer! true that it came back and she lost her life to that evil illness but STILL, Jennettes mom DID beat it! she lost her fight in the end but dont undermine her struggle!
