Information:
"Generation Love" is a modern country song. The song's female narrator laments on the modern generation, which is seen as selfish and caught up in mainly the technological world. It is contrasted with the early generations of the Great Depression, War veterans and the post-World War II generation that performed feats such as landing on the moon. The main message is to convince the current generation to be a generation that is one of love: "Generation Love". The single was released on March 15th and is produced by Jay DeMarcus.The song was also available, along with "Put Your Arms Around Someone", to anyone who bought Jennette's "Generation Love" CD on her mall tour. It was available on the iCarly Soundtrack CD that was released on January 24th as the fourth track. It remained on the charts for seven weeks, hitting #44 twice. This is Jennette's best single so far on the Billboard charts. The music video of the song premiered on CMT around April 29, 2011. It reached #2 on the iTunes Country charts.

Personal Review:
A lot of people (including me) love the fact that Jennette isn't like most teen stars who sing about boys/girls. She actually sings about life and love (not just between 'lovers'). This time, Jennette combines these two themes (life & love) into one! The message here in the song is very sweet! Music wise, it is excellent - it's powerful but also in some parts very calm and smooth. I think that the lyrics are the best part of the song and what makes the song so special - they are perfect. Jennette's vocals are always a pleasure to hear and it didn't disappoint although it wasn't her best performance. The background vocals add a lot to the song and its power. One of my favorites by Jennette! 4.5 Stars!

1st of all, damn girl, you can sing. 2nd, you are part of the voice of your generation, and I fell very pleased, proud, and to be honest, surprised with the voices coming from Generation Love. Just looking at her on this tour, she thought she was eating too much but she looked so super healthy. So sad that her mother made her feel ashamed for being a good weight. 😢. I honestly had a similar mother who intentionally gave me anorexia. it's taking me a little over 20 years to finally start feeling I'm getting closer to sanity and a healthy weight

@BlueOreo Aside from the fact that Jennette dated a basketbal player of color and THEN falsely accused him of rape, just to raise her profile, country music is as connected to racism as Wagner is connected to Nazism & Hitler. The exception making the rule are the Dixie Chicks. Who are universally hated in CuntryLand (For daring to criticize Bush!!! I know, I know ...... it boggles the mind)
