I think she gets so much hate exactly because of her being pushed so hard. Nickelodeon shoved her down our throats as being the star. They did her dirty though, her career could've taken off if it wasn't for them forcing to stay with their children demographic and giving her this generic song. You can just look at Ariana's debut "The Way", she gave herself a new mature and "sexy" perspective.

Many People are wishing to have a VICTORiOUS reboot just like iCarly did but yet most people still hating on Victoria Justice.And if you really think that Victoria's career really got stalled,well she had a new Netflix movie 'Afterlife of the Party' which is doing great and got the Number 1 trending in many countries.

From what I understand is that she wanted to go on a solo tour. Instead of with the rest of the cast it was a tradition and the show was cancelled so that's why she was hated on. Also supposedly she's the one that bullied Ariana on victorious.

Jessey Booker nick didn't cancel sam & cat. both ariana and jennette were tied of playing their same characters. jennette even confirmed it saying they were contracted to do the first season but after that neither wanted to resign the contracts because they didn't want to play those characters anymore

Not really, the song literally says "man up and make your move". This song is literally promoting how guys are expected to be "manly" and be the ones to make the move while the girl waits for it. I like the song but that's seriously not a good message to send. If you like someone, go get them. Guys shouldn't be expected to make the first move at all times. The song is good, but doesn't really send a good message. :/

@@isidroguevara4120 There has been plenty of mediocre pop songs that have topped charts so that's not really an excuse. I've heard people argue that Halsey's music sounds like generic pop songs and I do kind of agree but she's still a pretty big deal, or at least bigger than Victoria. Even if it is mediocre, that doesn't mean it isn't catchy or good. She can definitely do better and it did seem a little young for her to be doing but that doesn't mean she can't make better music or that she has to make that for the rest of her career. Disney stars made juvenile music that was still really good and I think as long as the music matures as they do then there isn't any reason why she shouldn't have more attention. If she ever decided to make more music I think she could definitely do it as long as it was a little more mature and better advertised. As for this song, I actually really like it for what it is and I wish it had done better so she could've had more chances to find her own sound
