LYRICS:
Somebody save me, me from myself
I've spent so long living in Hell
They say my lifestyle is bad for my health
It's the only thing that seems to help
All of this drinkin' and smokin' is hopeless
But feel like it's all that I need
Somethin' inside of me's broken
I hold on to anything that sets me free
I'm a lost cause
Baby, don't waste your time on me
I'm so damaged beyond repair
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams
I'm a lost cause
Baby, don't waste your time on me
I'm so damaged beyond repair
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams
What if the night sky was missin' the moon?
There were no shootin' stars to use wishin' on you
And all of my sorrows, I'd just wash them down
It's the only peace, I've ever found
All of this drinkin' and smokin' is hopeless
But feel like it's all that I need
Somethin' inside of me's broken
I hold on to anything that sets me free
I'm a lost cause
Baby, don't waste your time on me
I'm so damaged beyond repair
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams
I'm a lost cause
Baby, don't waste your time on me
I'm so damaged beyond repair
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams

1st welcome home and thank you for your sacrifices. 2nd what branch my pops was a vietnam era marine. 3rd im glad your doing better i had to fight my cousin 3 tours airborne when he was 1 liter of whiskey drunk and talking all suicidal asking me to give him a gun like fuck no cold dead hands bitch wich he took litterally for as drunk as he was incredibly hard to take to the ground once he calmed down he agreed to rehab id take the lumops and bumps from anyone that served to prevent people from experiencing that. Hell i even called a liberal congressman had to burb my phone after to get his treatment pushed through the v.a. and got him 100% dissability and lined out i pray that theres someone in your life that cares like that the fact it takes so much for yall to get help or even alittle respect is something pops always made sure i was aware of and made sure i knew it wasnt ok i feel like some care and respect would go a long ways to help the amount of veteran suicides go down programs to help transition back into society new forms of therapy to replace old ones that just dont work very well if there had veen assistance my pops would still be here as it wouldve been easier for him to get help w his demons

@That one dude You don't know brother i appreciate you saving one of my brothers and for the words. I was with the 1st infantry division, then the 10th mountain. I have friends that care, just wished i had family that cares as much as they did. They just dont want to hear about some of the things i had to do. That alcohol is no joke, it had a hold of me just like your cousin. Pints of jack with a 30 pack no problem. Keep being there for tour cousin, because Lord knows the VA isnt ever going to be.

I am not his mama or family but I am SO proud of Jellyroll and how far he has come! It is so inspiring to see the country music world accept and collab with him. My husband has been helped by his music like so many others. We got lucky and have had the honor of meeting Jellyroll. Seeing him up there doing these big things is an inspiration for those with similar struggles because people who have been helped by his music see him as representing them and speaking for the outlaws and the misunderstood and those in recovery.

This song was the story of my life for nearly my whole life. I was a heroin addict for 18 years and drank most of my life. I took God's grace for granted and took it for kindness until I finally fell and broke my neck while drunk and now I'm a quadriplegic but it took that to get born again so in the long run it was worth it.

No matter how much I fought against the pain, if always took hold of me. I made so many mistakes. I hurt everyone around me. I finally found my way. I could say I regret bad decisions, but each one taught me a huge lesson. It's made into the person I needed to be. This song is #1 in genre. We all already know Jelly Roll is the G O A T! but hearing Lainey Wilson’s voices in that first voice brought tears to my eyes! She has an incredible voice and this is definitely a duo I never knew I needed! Lainey’s voice gives Dolly Parton vibes!!

My 14 year old son says she reminds him of Reba McIntyre. Jelly is the best. He's saved me many times with his music.

I just discovered Jelly Roll, thought he was a joke due to his name. He's not a joke He's the real deal. Not country, pure gospel and hope.

This song brings me to tears, in a positive way. Remembering my late husband 2003 who no one could save him from himself. Alcoholism sucks.

I listen to this song every morning to get me going. What a performance and such heart. I can feel it from both of them and something I need from time to time. This song and Monsters from James Blunt. I need it and it's now on my bucket list - to get to see both of them in person. Sometimes it's difficult to get to see them being in northern Idaho almost Canada but I'll figure it out
