What a nice to hear you give thanks to Yngwie. Great artists are usually great egos, nothing wrong with that. Thank you Jeff. I would also mention Talisman, what a great band with great tunes!!!!

As a Puerto Rican (We are Americans) person who grew up listening to Metal in the 80’s makes me happy to see Jeff becoming a true contributor of the genre, respected and admired by many. He built a superb reputation, based on true talent and strong work ethic. When I bought his albums with Malmsteen I did not even knew who he was

So proud of Jeff. Hes still an amazing singer, and just such a class act. Yngwie is Yngwie and I know Jeff has said that he felt more like he worked For Yngwie, than worked With him, and I'm sure that's true based on many people that have also worked for Yngwie, but for Jeff to single out Yngwie and give him such a big heart felt Thank You for giving him a chance 35 years ago, is a testament to what a gracious human being Jeff is. Puerto Rico and the rest of the world love and thank you Jeff for all the timeless music youve given your fans. Que Dios Te Sigas Bendiciendo Para Que Nos Siga Bendiciendo Con Su Musica.( May God Bless You So You Can Keep Blessing Us With Your Music)

This is true, but even Yngwie made a point in his autobiography of speaking kindly about Jeff, so it's not a surprise to me, because I think they have always valued each other.

@@legatrix Yeah, I'm sure you're right. Yngwie has praised Jeff before. I'm just saying that Jef has said he is over any ill will towards Yngwie and wished Yngwie would accept his handshake and squash the past and maybe even work together again. Yngwie always has had amazing singers, but my top 2 are Jeff Scott Soto and Mark Boals.

You mean you write lyrics and send them to Portnoy for his approval. After all, Portnoy said he would only do SOA if he had total control of everything. He has a lot of puppets.

Jeff forgot to add the 'J' before Malmsteen. Poor YJM from Miami was probably left wondering who was being credited.
