@@clos7400 Nobody, and I mean nobody expected a beat down by either guy. It was shocking to the senses to be honest. Errol did not look good in the post-fight presser, but I give him props for showing up and accepting what happened like a man. What can you say about Crawford, other than he's got something special inside that relatively thin frame. He can flat out swat the hell out of a guy, something you don't see very often. This is getting to be a regular thing with Crawford. He stopped Benavidez late in their fight, he beat the brakes off the thug from Australia, he knocked Kell Brook sideways and had him staggering with a punch that looked like not more than a jab. Bud also made Amir Khan quit middle of their fight. Despite the excuse that Khan made, make no mistake about it, Khan wanted no more of Bud Crawford. As if those weren't outstanding enough, he went to another level by beating Spence in the manner we saw. Bud has put together a string of wins so impressive that few can match at any time in their career. In recent times, I can think of Pacquiao at his best and the way he ran over good fighters that were bigger men as a similar accomplishment. Maybe a couple of others as well but this has been an extraordinary run for Bud. I would like to see Crawford fight Thurman next, or at some point before he retires. Keith will give him a fight for sure, it remains to be seen if Bud can handle Thurman and if it will be a stiffer challenge than other fights have been recently. Some good advice for all of us; don't bet against Bud until he's past 50.

That short crisped straight right of Crawford, disguised as a jab, is a thing of beauty. I remember the first time he used it against Brook, I couldn't figure out what was Brook hit with for him to react in such a way, because it just seems like a regular stiff jab. Now that he's unleashed it against Spence, I am able to see it for what it is--a short straight right disguised as a jab.

@@edntz I thinks it’s because most people dont give Pacquiao the right credit. He’s speaking of all time greats. And both Floyd and Manny are all time greats along with the greats from the past. But for some reason the reporters often don’t mention Manny but do mention Floyd and others in the past, doesn’t have anything to do with beating Floyd or not. I thinks it’s a bias against Manny downplaying his accomplishments as well as Pacquiao not being American, since these reporters are all American.
