Normally, I would agree with you. However, the crowd was cheering when Jeff nailed Kurt Angle and won the belt. That's usually a sign that the heel turn didn't work.

This is one of the best heel turns in wrestling history!

Jeff Hardy's first true heel turn and probably the only one he would ever do. And he done that perfect. He took the ball and ran hard and never stopped, he took drugs while he was running and that finally made him stumble but damn, i will always be a big fan of this.

Except...WWE had already tried it years earlier in the summer of 2003. It only lasted for about three weeks, and it really didn't work out which is probably why WWE want you to forget about it.

If there was one good thing that came out of the Hogan/Bischoff era of TNA, it was Jeff Hardy's heel turn. The Anti-Christ was the best gimmick that Jeff Hardy ever had. It is such a shame that his heel run ended due to his addiction to drugs. It had so much potential.

I couldn’t agree with you more! All the bullshit that Hogan and Bischoff did, this was a good one. I didn’t expect it and The Anti-Christ gimmick was great.....but like you said it was a shame it ended because of his drug use. I wonder what would have happened if he stayed off drugs and the storyline continued.

@PLUX4 100 agree with you on that. He did so well as a heel until his drug addiction come forward. His Anti Christ gimmick was by far one of his best. Probably better than his Brother Nero gimmick and I enjoyed that too.

nobody ever expected Hogan to turn heel. he did and it was in Daytona. nobody ever expected hardy to turn heel. he did, and again it was in Daytona.

No WWE tried to turn Jeff heel while he was going for the WWE Championship and feuding with Vicky Guerrero in 2008-2009, but the crowd loved him too much and kept cheering for him so they stopped doing it

Kane did the same thing in 2003 laying there on the canvas for nearly 5 minutes during the chaos after the Goldberg Kane Lumberjack match in WWE. Kane sat up like the undertaker after laying on the canvas for 5 minutes.

They really had to solidify that he heal turned so no one could be confused

Chris untitled now Jeff isn't there either. The reason being: TNA is the biggest joke of a wrestling organization of all time. Multiple wrestler have said it's better environment and pay to work on the indies than TNA.
