Jeff Buckley performing Hallelujah live at Beasrville. This is an outtake from the studio recordings of Grace and an amazing performance!

Kid, stay out of the river... A million dollar voice and a ten cent head. And I loved his music, played it on public radio, and love my own kids. And I live along the Mississippi.

Gosh, first time hearing this particular version. I cried within the first minute, and never stopped. And I thought the 'official music video' was emotional..

I read on a forum from one of the sound engineers who was there during this recording that it was actually recorded in a studio in NYC not Bearsville. He was explaining the equipment he used typically (very barebones as many of you have learned I'm sure) He came in entirely with loaner gear, a Fender amp and his telecaster- the engineer said it sounded like a amped up tin can and they used a different amp on the recordings.

Pretty sure it was his Tele, but the amp could be a fender twin but he would of have a wealth of choice.
