My favorite vocalist. He was here for such a short time, but gave us so much. There's a lot of meat on this bone. Check out "Mojo Pin", "Lover You Should Have Come Over", "Last Goodbye", "The Sky is a Landfill", and "Satisfied Mind". He was a fucking angel walking among us. RIP Jeff Buckley.

Buckley was a vocal master. Gone way too soon.

“Grace” live at BBC is a great version of this song to check out. “Lover, you should’ve come over” is my absolute favorite of his. “Forget her” is another great one as well.

Grace is a masterpiece album. Jeff’s father, Tim Buckley, was also a great folk singer who died tragically young at 28 overdosing. Jeff barely knew him-dad left him and his brother right after Jeff’s birth. So much talent and tragedy here. ❤

@lesscarmel5527 Jeff’s brother is younger, and he wasn’t Tim’s son, rather, his father is Ron Morehead (Jeff’s stepdad).

Man, back then, reading his interviews, I really figured he was not from this planet. He had to go back, I suppose.

Jeff Buckley ❤❤❤ this is on one of those rare albums I’ve bought twice, once on cd and once on itunes. He has a very bluesy song called Alligator Wine, and then vocal majestry in Corpus Christi

Damn, you got it. Jeff listened to a wide variety of singers including Ella Fitzgerald, and liked to scat.

He drowned while trying to swim across the Mississippi River. His rendition of “Hallelujah” is my favorite. Makes me cry every time.

This actually is a slightly longer song. I don't know why they shortened it for the video. It's not by much, but if your familiar with the album, it's just enough to tell. The whole album is good, my #2 desert island album.

With you on the blues style. I also get a lot of jazz to it, especially live as he improvised so much. If you want 100% R&B, check out his song "everybody here wants you."
