@@NOVSinSinga Considering how much was dropped, I find it weird that it wasn't at least 45 minutes or a two-parter at the very least. Supposedly, it was cut down to the normal running time for a number of reasons. 1. One of the most desired scenes involved Kat and Rocky returning but Sutherland was unavailable and they lost contact with Cardenas when he moved house and had to hire Austin St John at the last moment. 2. They couldn't film a big climax with all the past Megazords fighting Serpentera because Bandai America demanded that they use the Wild Force Rider in a major way (it had only appeared in its debut episode by this point by the way and was then only used in "Sealing The Nexus" before being dropped entirely). 3. The Beetleborg suits were in pretty awful shape by this point due to being about eight years old so they couldn't be used for multi-minute action packed fight scenes. 4. Tzachor didn't allow them the budget for a massive action packed thriller as the channel change from Fox to Jetix/Disney XD caused a hole to open in the show's budget. And 5. almost all of what was left from Amit's original script was just set-up for Power Rangers Hexagon which he knew was never being made after Disney bought the franchise shortly before "Forever Red" went into production. The episode's a classic but it's definitely got the worst production history of any standalone Power Rangers episode.

@@lorddrayvon1426 Actually, they did get Catherine Sutherland back. She voiced one of the Beetleborgs and did the grunts and groans, but the part with Steve Cardenas not showing up even though he wanted to come back was true (he said it himself).
@lorddrayvon1426
Жыл бұрын
@@jerelminter Sutherland is an exception in my opinion for two reasons. Namely, she was one of only four people from the MMPR era to leave under good circumstances (the others being JDF, Johnson, and Cardenas) whereas the rest left due to pay disputes, being bashed for being gay or (in the case of Bosch and Burise) fired because Saban wanted a clean slate for the second half of Turbo but they only found out when the make-up girls discussed it whilst preparing to film an episode. That musta hurt. Also another sidenote, as you said, Tesla speaks only in grunts. Much easier to record than full on dialogue and much less effort so she may have just come in for about ten minutes and left. Keep in mind that she left the show during Turbo since she was sick of the exhaustive work week which was also why Geiger, Trang and Jones asked for more money and subsequently were either fired or walked off-set since sources conflict. One other weird fun fact; Jason is the only Power Ranger in the show's history to have the same name as his actor. Austin St John is a stage name and his real name is Jason Geiger. This is probably a coincidence though since Jason's name originates all the way back to the unaired Bio-Man pilot whereas Geiger first played the character in that weird version of DOTD.

R.I.P JDF RANGERS FOREVER
SELWYN WARD, THE FIRST BLACK LEADER OF THE POWER RANGERS But thanks to JDF for uploading this. By far, the best team up in Power Rangers history and when JDF and ASJ were buddies before the shit happened.
18 years ago.
Will always be one of the greatest episodes
Thank you so much for unloading this!
Love this…#RIPJDF…I’ll never forget meeting you in 2018 and 2020…You are forever missed…💔🙏🏽💐

Deka Red you know what I did not realize that but you are absolutely right and even though I abhor Turbo the actors were not actually that bad. I really do think he was an effective leader and come on even when in space was on yeah Andros was the official leader but we all know who was calling the shots

Adam Hovey And that's why he should have been the black ranger especially since the black ranger had as much authority as the red ranger.

@@zyuranger21 Not true at all, Black Rangers do not hold as much authority as the Red Ranger. Besides, second in command has usually been Blue.

When I first saw this episode, I didn't recognize you without the long hair.
This is so cool
OH MY GOD, CHRISTOPHER⁉️😱😵
Just curious 🧐 is this being shot with a fish eye lense?? I noticed that it looked like it was during a couple of areas in the video. It’s a pretty common lense used by a lot of filmers and photographers. Fish eye lenses are mostly used in a lot of skateboarding edits.
Dope!
Nice!!!
Oh my God that's Tommy

Lulu Zerbe well I'm not a homosexual but I do agree with him being the best red ranger if it wasn't for the fact Tommy was one
@chucknorrisfan47

Lulu Zerbe best? I'd say Jason. Jason was the first leader and there's just now way you can question him in my opinion. Then Carter. Carter was ready to sacrifice himself to save the earth. Then you have Wes would took on a whole army on his own. But everyone has opinions. That's just mine.

alright see the first guy that came up wasn't he the guy that has been charged with murder? I don't know if he did it or not innocent until proven guilty in the United States but still it's sad to think of a Power Ranger as a murderer
