I was really surprised and excited that he brought out the Falcon Zord which was completely unexpected. If he had played the Dragon Dagger and summoned the Dragon Zord I would've lost it completely.

It’s hard to believe these episodes take a year to air. What was the turn over in other years?

they film 2 seasons (1 + their super season) in 6-8 months then gradually release those episodes over 2 years. thats they way its been since samurai. the ninja steel rangers haven't been on a power ranger set since early to mid 2017. so its been over a year since any ninja steel episodes have been filmed and the actors have been off doing other things. with other seasons they had similar filming times 6-8 months but the episodes would air faster, ie. within a year.
