I am truly looking forward to this film. I am hooked on Barebow and there is not enough solid content on it on the web.
Listening to several top archers talk about reaching 50 meters with low poundage, I was surprised that no one mentioned using the bow shelf rather than the point. I don't know where I read about this method , but it's out there .

last time, i joint competition barebow 50 metres, my poundage on finger 30 lbs, draw length around 29, my arrow was vap elite 1, arrow uncut, spine 600, point weight 140 grain, anchor on chin like recurve player do
John you really are a inspiration,if it wasn’t for you I was close to giving up string walking, now I’m on a mission.
I enjoy videos like this, watching the concentration and focus are an inspiration to this barebow shooter.

Wunderbar, hab wieder einiges dazu gelernt.
Hola buen día, que libros me sugieres para ésta discipilina? Muchas gracias.
Excited!
Sehr geil! Ich werde die Zieltechnik klauen und selbst anwenden! Danke und frohe Weihnachten!
What draw weight do these guys usually shoot with in competitions?
Where will it be released or announced? :)
He has a seriously deep hook, might try and go a little deeper on mine now. Thanks for the preview.

That's insane!!
Great video !
What tab would you recomment for string walking? Im currently using the Black Widow Barebow tab but mine is quite old and rugged...

I love the Black Widow, but then I go split fingers for 100 yards and three under for everything else, if you don't shoot split fingers then I hear the Yost tabs are very good but as with so many things in this sport it is what you feel comfortable and confident with.

www.bow-international.com/features/interview-with-john-demmer-iii/ This is an interview from september this year and it lists all his equipment, I searched for it because I wanted to have an idea about really good barebow equipment so happy to share it :)

Joseph L. Moskaly He’s using a Spigarelli rest on a Spigarelli riser. But this guy could shoot off a paper clip better than I. It ain’t the bow, it’s the Indian!
Looking forward to Oct. 31st.
Very cool.
Super Video Daumen hoch von mir 👍🇦🇹

can be avoided by turning your head and bringing the string to face rather than leaning into anchor and string
El unos de los mejores deporte del mundo
The aiming method is so perfect to get the target . I liked it so much , I used to use this way to shooting arrow's a bout 2 years ago, it's perfect . Thanks for your vid.

Mesopotamia -IQ I agree 100%. I’ve learned more from watching Mr Demmer shoot than almost anyone else out there. I’ve learned to be a lot more careful about preparing the shot. Take the time to nock it correctly and place the draw hand where you want it before you do anything else. It’s helped me immensely!

@@oudski That's right , As you mentioned above. Have a nice time
I notice John always brings the bottom of the nock to the top of the nose-tape... is this an anchor point function?
@rubenv3026

Probably not, he string walks so he most likely can't do that with different crawls

Matt that was crazy! Talk about focus... to catch that: u got focus! Of course u pointing it out and still most folks would not catch it!
I'm a barebow archer; I shoot split finger because I would prefer to gap shoot than do 3 under. That said, after watching so many barebow archers, I'm still trying to understand why my coach has me anchoring under the side of my jawline instead of the side of my cheekbone.

Is he a bare bow archer? JD3 shoots the way he does because it works for him, we all have a slightly different style, our faces are different shapes, you will have to experiment a bit and find what anchor works for you and is repeatable.

@@tonygedalovitch8958 Hi Tony. No, the coach (level 4) shoots primarily Olympic, and he teaches all styles, but most of his students are compound or Olympic shooters. Even his family shoot Olympic. I agree, we are all different with different body structures. I want to trust my coach, but its hard when I see all top shooters anchoring along the side of their face.

@@darlenelopez5632 If you are not already you could join the "The Barebow Group " on face book JD3 is a member. You could get some feedback and maybe find someore Barebow archers in your area.
It would be nice to see stance and approach start to finish instead of close ups
