God I miss seeing JD in the Old English D. He was a special talent, it just sucks that he was there when they started the rebuild, and they got peanuts for him in a trade :/

Lol he had a funny beard status back then. He also looks funny when he grows a full beard. His best look IMO is the closely cropped full face beard 🧔

What was so sad about his home run against the Twins at 13:49 was that Nathan and Carerra both blew it for the Tigers... What should have been a story book ending to the game AGAIN by JD turned into a wasted home run...

Do you know what was really weird? I was at that game and I actually cried when he hit that homer because I am a Twins fan and I love the twins so much but when Kurt Suzuki got that double and Aaron Hicks got that walk-off single I was better. LOL but JD Martinez when he hit that homer I agree that should have been the dagger for the Tigers. I actually yelled from the stands "BLOW IT NATHAN!" Though. xD

Bucks John If you actually cried because the team you like lost one game that makes up literally 0.617% of their season, you have some serious emotional issues.

Incredible season, but I see one flaw in him. Only 4 of his homers were on offspeed pitches, and only one on a breaking ball from Liriano who is a lefty. Hopefully hell be able to recognize breaking balls better next year because although all the clutch home runs come with him, he did also strikeout over 130 times. Great season nonetheless

Red Sox fan and he’s been a godsend for the team. But this is the season where it started but he became an amazing hitter . Detroit had some great teams from 2006-2014
