I learned to fly RC helicopters in the 80's when there was no stabilisation apart from a mechanical gyro for the tail rotor. A very hands on experience.

Not at all. Watch on youtube here other people fly a drone with barometric altitude sensing, optical flow and GPS. They can fly completely autonomously these days very easily. (Look up Ardupilot for example.)

There goes the neighborhood,I don’t have anything like that on any of my helis,this heli now anybody can fly it,it took hours just to learn how to hover,now this can do that for you.No need to practice in simulator either.Whats next ? Preprogrammed 3D ?

Wonder how it would perform in wind

I follow facebook and have seen RC units like this one offered real cheap, now even found posted an RC large scale apache attack helicopter I believe larger than your model. How can I protect myself from scams or how can I be certain I am buying what is offered in these seemingly amazing ad's.

Check youtube or even better rcgroups.com to see if anyone has reviewed the item, and if the reviewer is credible. Otherwise don't buy.

VERY high price, Chinese manual, very little information, it was made to sell only in CHINA, imagine setting it up, it all seems very complicated.

Hope the blades are balanced and tracking right. If this is damaged or not perfectly set up, and spools up like that, it could disintegrate (fly apart) you really need to know how to check heli setup or it is unsafe. You need to fix it to the ground very well first to test it. These can be lethal. Remove main blades first, check EVERYTHING that moves, correct orientation of all the controls, tail movement, pitch, and every screw and bolt, servo, motor and pinion, Every linkage and the landing gear security. Use locktight where necessary, (RESEARCH) and check for vibration with it rigged to something Heavy by the SKIDS, before ever attaching main blades. Then check the main blades are balanced, before attaching them, and do blade tracking. Helicopter is not a multirotor and much more complex to check for safety. It is dangerous to not have an instant control of the throttle manually in a helicopter, I have no clue how you would go about safely testing this without a manual throttle override. Vibration can fool the gyros and cause an out of control situation and probable crash, especially when it is lifting off or touching down. Should be sold with a helicopter transmitter instead of a drone transmitter.

NEEDED ! URGENT! Hello I want to change the receiver into an FRSKY Receiver with telemetry. Is there anybody who can make a program for Mode2 OPEN TX for Horus? At Moment I have the settings for the channels and Mode SWITCH. But there are any other settings in the channels like Throttle 15% (49%) ??? What about 100% shown for Aux in the Monitor but in the AUX itself is +75 to -75 % or whatever. So is it possible to copy or build ALL SETTINGS for MODE2 OpenTx Horus 12s or Radiomaster TX16S

Hi my name is Vincent and I live in the United States 🇺🇸. I recently purchased a JCZK 300C helicopter and I have been dying to get it in the air. Unfortunately, the entire operating manual is all in Chinese. I tried to follow all the start up procedures that I have seen on UTube but every time I get it to throttle up it shuts down and starts beeping. Do u know where I can find an English Operating Manual??? Or at least explain to me what on earth am I doing wrong? The last thing I want to do is crash it on its very first maiden flight. Can u also tell me if this helicopter needs to be calibrated and how do I go about it. Please help???? Thanks.

Really nice until you have a mechanical failure and have to autorotate. That spring loaded collective/ throttle stick is gonna totally screw up your chances of saving the heli.

Is it possible to buy this with the GPS and all these great features but without the lipo charger? And do you have to have the transmitter to have all the features or could I program it to my Futaba 14SG transmitter and still have all the features?
