JBL Quantum100 one side not working (how to fix)

In this video we are taking a close look at some defective JBL Quantum 100 headphones, where the left side stopped playing. We can only hear the sound on the right ear cup.
In order to figure out the problem with our headset, we open up the left ear cup and examine the driver, the wiring and the small PCBs.
In this case it turned out that the speaker itself was still working. So was the wiring to the speaker and the soldering work on the PCB. (We are using a multimeter in continuity-mode to check for problems)
It turned out to be a faulty auxiliary cable, which we use to connect to our computer or smartphone. (This model of headphones does not have Bluetooth)
In order to repair this problem, we will have to get a new auxiliary cable and replace the old, defective one - but this will be part of a different video...

hi, i dropped my headphones before that led to one side not losing volume, BUT losing the treble instead. this is very annoying. how do you fix it when its only certain frequencies that arent working
when u put the metal clip touching both reds it worked, so can u just put a metal clip connecting both of them n its fixed or nah? And i didnt really understand the ''how to fix'' part like, if thats the problem i have to change the cables n thats the only way or there r some other alternatives, i didnt find it very clear, also um watching to fix an USB headset n the thingy abt the 2 reds worked so the fixing prossess is the same?

Right so my mic only recieve's sound wene i turn my receive wire wene i push it to the side

will audioo intensity reduse but it will save temporarily replacing jack??
Hey BROOOOOOOOOOOOO! I have this headset, and its detachable mic was working perfectly for over 1 year But SUDDENLY, the mic is not recording at all! And I'm getting ZERO sound detection on it. I didnt drop it or pull the wire or anything, can you please suggest anything I can do to fix this issue? I tried all the settings, and now i think it is a hardware issue...

One more thing - I also tried using it on my mobile to record voice and see if i could get any response.... but talking has no effect.. the only time sound is picked up.. is when i smack the left side lightly like tap tap tap, and it detects that noise.. just not my voice..
itested that two red wires with a paperclip but it did work than, what do i need to do than?

When you hear music during the test at 3:30, then you can try to do the same test, but create a connection with the paper clip from the red wire of the speaker, which does not work to the red wire, which is located to the right of the volume wheel. Then repeat with the green green wire also. In case you only hear audio in one of the two cases, it is likely that the wire is defective.

@VarshneyAryan connecting the wires will work with some disadvantages. First, it will lower the volume and the sound quality. Second, it lowers the impedance of the headphones, which may result in overloading the amplifier and damaging it over time.
