when you have sound on 1 ear and you do this method its so satisfying hearing stuff with both ears

I plugged out the headphones, disabled and enabled my head phones, then i renamed it "Headphones", plugged it in and it now works yay

It only works on the right side without mono audio, when I turn it on, the audio plays depending on how my head is tilted. If it's tilted to the left it plays through the left, speaker, and when my head is tilted to the right, it plays through my right speaker. How do I fix this?

I had forgotten where to adjust the headphone levels so thanks. I've got an Arctis Pro headset so was glad it wasn't an issue with the speaker. For some bizarre reason, the sound on the Game channel was half the actual volume on one side. Any idea what would cause such a change to occur without user input?

Thank you so much!!!! I got a cheap headset for just until i could actually get a good gaming setup, and was sad my left ear wasnt working. You're amazing :)

Tip for steelseries arctis (any version) users: If the windows thing does not work, do not freak out. It is probably the cable that is kinda loose. Try to take of your headphones and push the cable a little further into the left speaker and it will probably work.

Another way to do it is 1. Go to settings 2. Go to System 3. Go to Sound (Under Display) 4. Go to Device Properties 5. Then you can adjust your sound balance Hope this helps you have a good day!

there is also a really secret button when you go to properties click the advanced tab and then it should show your speakers or headphones quality and just turn it up to studio quality. if your speakers stop working then you might want to change it back

Uhm, so I can hear through my both my headphones, the left side has great sound, but the right side has sound coming through, but barely any, even if I ajust it I can still barely hear through the right side.

They were the same balance and they worked on my 3ds so I just unplugged my speakers and plugged them back up and put my headphones and they worked

it was a little bit more difficult to figure this out on windows 11, but i still found the option, thank you so much you saved me.

right click the speaker at the beginning, Related Settings, Sound Control Panel, Properties will show the balance

the moment i started watching this video, the sound from the other side just came on. From nothing thank u random man on the internet

they weren't working on my right side. when I tried to balance them they were already at 100 and when I tried plugging them into my phone they started working on both sides. I plugged them back into my computer and they're working just fine now. :)) thankss

the problem with mine was that one side was adjusted more than the other because i can adjust the height to suit my head i was playing around with thta and it fixed my headphones

It's not the headset that's broken, there's just dirt or lint in the spot on your microphone where you plug in your headset. Watch a quick video on how to clean it, shouldn't be too hard.

Might just have to clean your aux cord outlet (i dont know what it is called) but try cleaning, there is plenty of tutorials on yt so just search it up

i had this problem and tried this, they were balanced. it didnt work on my ps4, i though they were broken, so i bought another pair. these dont work either. please do u have any advice?

i changed my headphones and did as you said it was already balanced but still can't hear from one side

if your using hyper x stingers dont put the main headphone cord into the double connecter fully slowly put it in until you hear out of both ears
