Yeah the real go2 the bass cuts off at 60hrz. I wish that they wouldn't have done that but yet again it's a small speaker you wouldn't hear it that much anyway. Plus it would suck lots of battery for basically nothing and heat up the speaker so i guess that why jbl did that

I'm pretty sure it's for audio protection, the speaker is so small that the magnet wouldn't be able to keep up with the signals. It would have to switch between so many frequencies so fast that the audio would sound like trash. Plus, it does take up a substantial amount of battery and the excursion could damage the surround and the grille, as it would go too far.

It cuts off at 80 hz 80 hz sounded clear but 70 hz and 75 hz just sound weird and not clear at all

My go 2 starts to distort at about 80 hz, my go 3 goes all the way to 60 hz before Getting distorted

Yes the fake ones come with box and everything charging cable aswell . Just noticed the two I bought for 20 are fake but still super loud honestly I think they were worth 40 total

You have to soldier some parts to do that, even if you take it apart and free air the driver it can only go down to 60hz of pure bass. But is still sounds great xD

It's a good speaker..the problem is the battery is complete garbage..it's a small speaker so if you turn it up..company says 5 hours..try half that time if that..

the fake go 2 could be better if there was a bass cut. it sounds clean down to around same frequency as a go 2, but beyond that it's just all distortion.
