Look inside JBL GO2 - Teardown

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Check out the inside of the JBL GO2 bluetooth speaker. Opening it up is not that easy, so be careful when trying to pry it open!
Hopefully this video gives you an idea of how to do it better than I did.
Inside you will find the all range speaker, a passive radiator, the PCB board, the battery as well as the connections for charging via USB, an auxiliary port and microphone.

Just saw a video where similarly sized speakers had way more bass, so it is possible. Things like driver size and excursion and such also help, besides inside volume.

JBL have always been my favourite brand when it comes to portable speakers. I've watched and opened speakers from other brands and what I can say.. for the money you pay to buy an JBL speaker, you get a well engineered speaker in and outside with focus on quality. So that's said!

Has been working fine but now all of a sudden there's this electric pop noise randomly when listening to any audio from any apps, KZread, YT music, deezer, pocketcast and poweramp (FLAC, MP3). I've contacted the reseller and he sent me a new one, guess what same problem. I have no problem with my other Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Using a cable solves the problem but I bought it as a Bluetooth speaker not an analog one. Any ideas why this is happening? What's with this electric pop noise. Please help!
